The ad will say oceanfront room.. you get there for check in, and they say it is a mistake and it is actually city side you booked. The elevator was so beat up, I couldn't make myself get into it to even see the room that I did not want. The place gives sketchy vibes to the max

This place was very dirty and ran down. They make the pics look good online. The air didn’t work and it made a loud noise 24/7. The bathroom was so tiny and the bathroom fan made an awful sound anytime you turned it on. The smell in the room and “hall” was musty. The halls were also very dirty. We had came here bc the first place we booked, we stayed one night and left bc it was awful as well and we came here thinking it would be better…don’t waste your money.

Rooms: Dirty bathrooms with mildew/mold n the tub and the cover on the toilet tank didn't fit properly. The sheets and beds were clean, and the views were great. The whole place looked very run down, at $115 for one night it was ok, but any longer, and would have gone somewhere else. Safety: Elevators: one was down for maintenance, and the other was SO worn Out it was getting stuck. Saw one couple get stuck on the ground floor, the doors would only partially open then close they pushed the button for the next floor up and the doors luckily opened so they could get off, So we decided it was best to take the stairs

Regret choosing this hotel. 2 stars is generous

Besides the rude front desk staff, the keys that didn’t work most of the time. The elevator that didn’t work most of the time, the room smelled like fabuloso In an ash tray. There was mold crawling up the wall all over the bathroom. The door didn’t fully lock. The ac didn’t work. There was pubic hair on the bathroom and shower floor. This hotel is not worth the cost.

The property is disgusting and dilapidated. Mold in the bathroom and paint is literally falling off the ceiling, holes in the bathroom doors with poor patch jobs, one elevator works but it’s sketchy as heck, only 4 people can fit in at a time. Door didn’t lock, air conditioner didn’t work, had to go buy a fan, NO HOUSEKEEPING UNTIL YOU CHECK OUT, you have to trade in your BATH TOWELS at a window daily. Overall just needs to be tore down. A one and done experience, never never never never never never never never again. It’s probably cleaner under the highway bridge. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DIRTY HELL

The posting aaid hot tub there is no public hit tub at the properties which is the reason we wanted this hotel. Other issues Room was not clean hot water took minutes to appear in the tap Bath tub was dirty needs a deep cleaning Air conditioner non existent permanently aet on 79 which is way to hot when it was 91 outside. Very uncomfortable to sleep in. Elevator felt like it was going to fall at any minute. Need more vending options for the guest Nobody who doesn't smoke pot wants to smell pot when you are trying to use pool or sit on the balcony. Front desk personnel nor expedia was helpful when i called . Period.

The worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life. Staff very unfriendly. The hotel had the worst smell. Very run down looking. One elevator was being fixed and the other was so rickety I was scared to even get in it. The room didn’t smell clean. Beds were dirty. Bathroom was super small. Toilet basically sat on the ground. It was like putting lipstick on a pig. Things were broken and they did the bare minimum to fix. The door to the balcony didn’t even have a whole doorknob. Just a handle to pull it and a deadbolt to lock. A/C didn’t half work, the room was hot. The refrigerator half way worked, didn’t keep things cold like it was supposed to. Will NEVER be back.

Property looked nothing like advertised, i had a whole in my cieling with plaster coming out of it. There were electrical outlets no cover wires exposed. On the Balcony a huge structural crack. Checking in the counter person was not friendly and acted as if customers were bothering her. Room had no towels had to call front desk and they only gave me 3. Speaking of calling there was no cord that connects the phone receiver to the actual base of the phone. I called next day asking if house keeping would bring towels he said no you need to come to front desk and bring your used towels. Horrible!! Will not come back. They need a city or state inspection this place does not look safe. Overall Ocean Crest was a no for me. 1. roof falling in 2. Bottom of Fridge rusting 3. Not 1 towel 4. check in Front desk Rude 5. Room key didn't work 6. Electrical outlet exposed 7. Again not 1 towel 8. No apology for no towels, 9. Something leaking from the balcony above. Just be careful booking here. Definitely disappointed.

Very poor experience.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room that was originally assigned to us smelled of wet dog, the hotel overall is not clean, the stairwell smelled like urine, the smell of pot was thick in the air, I would say that this hotel is pretty nasty. It is outdated terribly. The desk clerk was able to give us a little bit better room that smelled cleaner. The floor had not been mopped in quite a while, as when I wiped up some water off the floor the tissue that I used was filthy.
