The complex is centered around a lush tropical courtyard with a large outdoor pool and deck. The deck includes lounge chairs for you to enjoy a day around the pool. There are multiple out door grills located on each side of complex as well as outside storage for beach chairs, boogie boards and sand toys. In front of Anchorage I and Anchorage II, you will find a playground, memorial park, exercise trail, private walkway to the ocean, outdoor showers and private beach gazebos for our guest to enjoy. Elevators and handicap ramps are located on each side of the complex and are easily accessible. Condos feature full size washer/dryer, flat screen TVs, and high-speed internet. Ample parking is available.

* Please note Anchorage II is a SMOKE FREE building (including private balconies). Renters may smoke in the designated area at the south gazebo next to the beach walkway

* No motorcycles, trailers or golf carts allowed on the property

Great locations

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. We stayed in this building last year and love the location within Myrtle beach and also love the ocean views and direct access to the beach across the street. The cleaning crew could have done better. They just spot clean and I might have left the condo in better condition that I found it. I didn't like how this particular unit did not have a vacuum and the kitchen was not well stocked - it just had the very basics. The property management company was prompt in replying to texts and sent a broom when I asked for something since the unit didn't have a vacuum or a broom. We also love the pool. We would definitely stay in this building again but would prefer a different unit based on the the things we mentioned above. The elevator and shopping cars make unloading and loading the car easier.

A few cons: twin beds were uncomfortable, had problems with all TVs, would have been nice to have at least a spray cleaner to clean up on a daily basis, also a small cooler to take to beach or pool. The management company did a great job of responding to any issues we had. Would stay there again.

Quality has went downhill

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been coming here for 15+ years but feel the quality has went downhill. The rules were more strict and put in place in years’ past. This year we experienced kids running (playing tag) through the halls on all levels at all hours during the day/night, keeping our kids awake and disrupting our stay. Additionally, the family above us sounded like a heard of elephants constantly, as if people were jumping off of beds or something. When reaching out to management, we were told quiet hours were at 10pm and there was nothing that could be done. The pool was dirty, and we had to keep cleaning it ourselves with nets. Random public over crowded the pool, there was nobody regulating that only guests of the condos were using it. There was hardly any room for our family to enjoy. The property landscape looked let go, plants dying and beds were flat dirt and sand (needed mulched or something). Between my entire family, we rent 5 separate condos and have been coming for over 15 years. We all felt and experienced the same, we’re not sure we want to return next year.

This place was both and was really cute as well! Great location and the kitchen fully stocked. Could watch the kids in the pool from the balcony and the beach right there was great. Anchorage itself could use some updating in the common areas but this condo was nice enough to overlook that.

Including restaurants and entertainment. The condo was clean, and appeared to have had recent updates. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat in each night (if we had chosen to do so). All appliances worked as expected. I will definitely stay here again in the future, if the need arises.
