"Off to a rocky start. The unit, I think, hadn’t been opened since the close of last season. On the day we arrived a new washing machine had been fitted, the fitters left a mess, no check was made after they had left and before we arrived. The unit is a little dated but was adequate and had all the amenities you would expect. The caretaker was very helpful and provided us with a tasty lunch and an offer of a free night for the inconvenience. The unit is well placed within walking distance to the town, foreshore and beaches."

"What a stunning location! We were so pleased with this property. Very clean, and well set up to be comfortable (lots of nice little touches around the home). We have already booked another stay here in a couple of months. Our dog felt secure in the yard, and we were close enough to walk to the shops, and nearby walking trails."

"This is a magical corner of Victoria. We had a very comfortable stay in Mallacoota. The property was exactly as described on the VRBO website. It was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had all the appliances, crockery and cutlery we required. The linen in the bedrooms and bathrooms were freshly laundered. The only hiccup was with the VRBO website, which was supposed to provide us with instructions to access the property. While it did provide a link 72 hours before check-in, there was no information, other than a photograph of the house. However, Amelia, the property manager promptly responded to my request for information, when I contacted her. She was very helpful and provided us with the access details right away. We will certainly be back in the future."
