"The hotel appears to be set up more as a conference centre than the as advertised relaxing spa hotel. We booked this hotel for the spa experience/treatment but found out on arrival that the spa doesn't open until after 5 pm (when the conferences finish). We booked a massage (they had to get someone in because they don't have an onsite masseuse) we asked if it would be possible to have at least the whirlpool switch on for after the massage but they left it drained. The food was ok but nothing to write home about, same menu for lunch and dinner and very overpriced - we found this out by driving down the road and finding an array of supermarkets selling items at normal UK prices. The staff are friendly and they put a nice touch on for our anniversary dinner but I wouldn't recommend this conference centre as a couples hotel."

"This was a peaceful and quiet retreat in Einsiedeln. 20.minute walk to the abbey or train station, about 8 minutes to the nearest bus stop. Theres plenty of nature around the property, and my room had a twin bed, a sink, a chair and table and a closet. I also had a big window for fesh air. I think this is a great option for travelers and hikers. Breakfast is served every morning and i was able to sit in the small library and visit the onsite chapel. I They also have a playground and basketball court. I will stay here everytime i visit Einsiedeln "
