On your doorstep is Cawdor Castle and Gardens, where you can step back in time at this magnificent 14th-century castle, famous for its connections to Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Wander through its beautiful gardens and woodland trails. Complete your day with a meal in the Cawdor Tavern, offering a varied menu for all. The village also has a deli which offers a wide selection of local produce excellent for stocking up your fridge.

A short drive takes you to Nairn with its stunning golden sandy beach perfect for coastal walks, picnics, and spotting dolphins in the Moray Firth. Nairn offers a large selection of local shops, restaurants and bars and two golf courses, perfect for our golf lovers. A trip Culloden Battlefield is a must to discover the history of the Jacobite Rising at this iconic battlefield and visitor centre.

A 15-mile drive takes you to Inverness the capital of the Highlands, the city offers fantastic shopping, dining, and attractions like Inverness Castle and the scenic River Ness, perfect for stroll along its banks to the Ness Islands where you can sit and take in the scenery, across the footbridge and stop at the Botanical Gardens for a coffee and home baking. The city has four golf courses one being Castle Stuart which has hosted the Scottish Open.

No trip to the Highlands is complete without a visit to the legendary Loch Ness, take a boat trip on the loch and maybe you will spot Nessie our World Famous Loch Ness Monster. The property is located close to the whisky trail where you can sample Scotland’s finest single malts with a visit to distilleries along the Speyside Whisky Trail or nearby Tomatin Distillery.
