Affordable and convenient

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Great internet. Bathroom fixtures worn but functional. Nice walk to UN Compound, US embassy, Village Market. I didn't try use the pool. My room faced a main highway so things were a bit noisy sometimes.

Nice location and staff, could use some renovation

The good stuff: the location is great with lots of food options and a mall in walking distance, as well as some beautiful outdoors, and the staff are friendly and do their job well. Special shout out to the laundry service that cleaned any amount of clothes for just 1000Ksh a pop. The not so good stuff: the Wi-Fi in the room was patchy at best, nonexistent at worst. The bed was probably the worst I've slept in: a worn-out mattress and fluffy pillow combined to offer barely any back or neck support, leading to a lot of painkillers being a necessity. Also, the heater for the shower seemed to be wired a bit dangerously as I got some electric tingles from the taps turning off the water.

I have stayed here before. The service snd the stay was exellent the reason i came back. But when i came back things were different. I landed late. I called the place to inform that i will be checking inn by midnight. By the time i arrived the staff had slept but after a shirt while i was checked inn by the most hard faced young man. I thought he was tired. The bathroom lights were not functioning he promised me it will be fixed in the morning. When i asked for a room change it was not possible because it was full which is understandable. The problem was his almost hostile responses i actually even asked him if he ever smiles with guests. The following day i was out all day, by the time i came back in the evening the bathroom lights were not fixed. The guy at the reseption was not there but i luckily got help eith the light by the friendly kitchen stuff and the guard. The cottage guest House is a lovely place. The guy who checked me inn should not be a face of any place dealing with client they depend on. I was planning to stay for One month but i moved out after three nights.

Only problem was that breakfast was not ready most days at 6:30am as promised. Which was only a problem due to morning meetings & appointments that left only a small window for breakfast. Otherwise the property was good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Owful experiece.

It was a very bad experience. I arrived at 10:00 p.pm. and I was told than the the junior suite I booked was not avaliable and no possible changes of room in the hotel because it was fooly booked. They moved me to other hotel with a worst room, the shower was broken, not water, not hor water. I will as my bank to as for reimbursment of the mony I paid though your web page.

This place has been better before. The room had a good size but there were plenty of mosquitoes in the room which made it impossible to sleep. staff in the hotel is friendly Breakfast could be improved, could still be simple but improved.
