Staff were very polite and helpful. They spoke great English and were very accommodating. The amenities were very nice and convenient. The location is very good and close to different interesting points of interest. It is also in a quiet area. Public transportation is a close walk.

Location is great.
After daily housekeeping, room still didn't seem clean - dirt on the floor.
Breakfast has not much variety.
Hotel not very responsive during chats via booking platform.
Highlighted warning messages when doing laundry but was told by staff to just ignore. Thankfully the washing machine still worked for me throughout the stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Kashiwaya Ryokan. Although it was long to get to without a car, it was worth the travel. The 2 days there didn’t feel like it was enough time.
