"Room was simple, but it worked okay. AC was very good. Bed mattress is like a stiff board; very uncomfortable. Pillow was okay. Only 1 towel for 2 people. No explanation on phone (number for reception, restaurant).
Staff were friendly. Food was very average.
Overall, okay but too expensive for what we got. "

"I have tried several hotels in Kampala and this one is the very best , perhaps being outside of Nakasero where my workplace is, made it a bit unappealing but the overall hospitality experience is excellent. Kudos to Angela at reception ..."

"We stayed at this apartment for a while and had a very positive experience. The place was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the friendly and professional security guards, who were always helpful and welcoming. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it."
"The atmosphere was not very service oriented. In front of our room door were dirty dishes on the floor before we arrived, which stayed there more than three days! The swimming pool was OK but was not included. The room was clean and OK except that there was no mosquito net, but only fly screens at the windows. In the night it was loud because of the nearby highway. After a shower the parking area became very muddy."
"Overall, this is a nice apartment in Kira and was partly chosen for its centralized location for us as we had places to go that were about the same distance from Kira but not in the same direction. Although, we initially had a bit of trouble finding the place (the pin brought us to the right road, but not the right gate) when we arrived very late due to transportation delay. Christine was very responsive and picked up when we called close to midnight. We also had some unusual power outages a few days in a row, which made it difficult for me to be able to contact Christine as I was on wi-fi only at the time.As for the apartment it is nice, yet has some evident wear and tear, so minor repairs are needed (i.e.one of the knobs on the stove was already spoiled, some of the cabinets need their doors rehung so that they are straight, the paint could use a refresh as there was some chipping in a few spots, etc.) The one downside about the location is that it can get pretty noisy at night. Dogs often bark most of the night and there is one neighbor who plays music most of the night (the fan in the bedroom was able to block them out when it was on). There is one really bad neighbor who, on a few occasions, blasted music from his car in the middle of the night when coming in, honked the horn several times, banged on the gate for a long time, and raised the volume of the music even more after parking.Aside from those issues and needing a few baking items, it was a comfotable stay."
