We had a wonderful one-night stay as a couple. The hotel was elegant, comfortable and welcoming, with excellent service throughout. Our room was lovely, and the location was ideal for exploring. A perfect choice for a relaxing couples’ getaway. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.
The staff was helpful, comprehensive about the weather as it was raining so they gave us the room earlier.
Everything was perfect, clean, room was great, the bathroom very clean and well designed.
The dinner at the Grill was very good with products in season.
The kitchen had no salt and had pepper!
Only two cups of coffee to use
No body lotion
The light next to the bed was loose
The toilet paper holder was loose
The toiles was smelling a bid told them but in the morning it was gone.
Staff was good and friendly .
Very quiet.
Absolutely beautiful hotel inside and outside. Breakfast was really lovely. Les Grill restaurant was really good, they dealt with a minor issue we had very well. Steak was amazing.
This hotel was an amazing find! The service was friendly andhelpful and room was lovely, clean and roomy. A very quaint hotel and would highly recommend.
Friendly staff of a lovely well presented hotel. It’s my second stay here. The rooms I’ve stayed in are all comfortable and nicely decorated in a modern theme.
Great comfortable stay. Amazing room and bathroom with sauna and bath. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice old building features. Only down points, many stairways and stairs in maze-like old building making it more difficult to move bigger luggage around and noisy at night because of the restaurants’ clients who linger on the street talking below the room windows.
It's a historic building downtown with two good restaurants, and each room has a different layout. When you walk in, there's a weird smell. Our room had a sauna and a bathtub, but the description didn't mention stairs everywhere, which was a big safety problem. The room was super small and dusty. We didn't have hot water for two days, and housekeeping never refilled the coffee or tea or cleaned the room. The safe didn't work, and the bed was really uncomfortable.
We had to call reception a bunch of times to resolve the hot water issue. The management offered free breakfast on the day we left, but breakfast was already over. They apologized and waived the city tax.
Nice hotel and perfectly located, we would have liked to eaten in the restaurants but sadly they were full. The car parking was also full so had to park in a nearby car park, if you visit booked the restaurant before hand and perhaps the parking too.
3 day break … hotel was lovely! Rooms spacious and well appointed. Hotel was very close to the centre which made it a great base for eating and drinking as well as site seeing only downside was the parking was very limited.
Rumor has it the hotel is overall a great place. BUT, unfortunately, our room #600 on bottom floor of the new portion of the hotel property, had a severe sewage smell throughout the room, obviously a structural issue with bathroom drains into the municipal sewer system. Definitely not just a “oh you just need to open the windows for a few minutes” kind of problem. The room was uninhabitable thus the front desk staff did process a complete refund. Big hassle as we had to find other accommodations at the last minute.
