Hotel de Guise has bags of charm so close to Nancy’s Grand Rue and is a peaceful spot to stay. A perfect small friendly hotel, with attentive but not intrusive service. Despite being in the ‘Old town’ nearby parking is no problem and if downloaded the EasyPark app for on street parking is super easy to use.

Excellent location
Great location for sightseeing and shopping. Staff very helpful. Beds super comfortable. Disappointed by a level of cleannesses as the room was quite dusty. Also not possible to ventilate the room as on the ground floor at the street level hence noisy if windows open.

The hotel is in the quiet pedestrian area of the Vile Vielle, conveniently placed for restaurants and bars. The front desk staff were very helpful and, in the late summer heat, the offer of unlimited cold water was welcomed. Breakfast offering up local produce was a lovely touch to make the stay a little more unique than other city hotels.

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel de Guise and were greeted on our arrival by friendly and professional staff. There is a beautiful courtyard at the hotel and we really enjoyed relaxing in this area. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. On check out we were offered complimentary coffees which was a lovely and unexpected treat. The hotel is very well situated in the old town with lots of quaint streets, bars and restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend Hotel de Guise and look forward to our next trip to Nancy and stay here.

Lovely 400 year old property in the heart of the old town with many eating options. Friendly helpful staff and very environmentally friendly. Rooms had recycling bins and no plastic is used. Only issues we had was no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor above ground floor and internet connection was open and not reliable.

A try pretty hotel close the older part of town. Nice rooms with good facilities. I definitely prefer this to the more modern hotels. Helpful staff.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel De Guise once we had our room situation sorted out. We didn’t realize that some of the rooms had no air-conditioning and given that it was very hot out, air conditioning was some thing we really needed! Fortunately we had the option of upgrading rooms. Our room are nicely appointed and quite spacious. Breakfast was very nice and was served to you rather than a buffet style. We found this very pleasant as we are still dealing with Covid! The hotel is nicely situated to the Old town attractions and restaurants. We walked to the hotel from the train station however it is a bit of a hike! We did take a taxi back! 😊

In the heart of Nancy but on a quiet street, this charming hotel was lovely, clean, very convenient and had exceptionally nice staff. We enjoyed the breakfast 2 mornings featuring local products that were delicious. Breakfast is not buffet but they bring what you want and are very attentive. Bathroom was remodeled and the bedroom was a bit older, but very comfortable and clean. 2 notes are that there is no elevator but the nice gentleman helped us carry our luggage when we arrived. Also, on weekends some streets are now closed to cars—walk streets only, so we did have to carry our luggage a few blocks—under 5 minutes. Definitely worth it for the area and enjoyment of the city.

A warm genuine welcome, willingness to help and advise was our 1st impression of the Hotel de Guise with the professional, proactive and kind Manon. She made our stay better. The hotel is lovely, excellent central position.

You could not ask for a better location. Everything was within walking distance. The room was large and comfortable. The bed was semi firm and we had a wide variety of pillows to choose from. We could not get a dinner reservation for the first night we were there, but the concierge came through for us and had a very good restaurant give a table. It was very romantic. The room had great hot water and great water pressure.

Great little hotel! We liked how everything was clean and comfortable and modern despite being in an old building. Nothing was creaky or musty or anything, so they kept the charm while updating. The service was also very friendly.

Great location and good local hotel.
We booked one of the cheaper rooms and as a result ended up in one of the smaller rooms. Rooms was functional but a bit small for a couple to move around in. However, for the price we paid can’t complain. Location of the hotel was great. Centrally located, very close to all the sights and lots of restaurants and bars. Nearby parking for fairly cheap and very friendly staff. We were there during a heatwave and although there was a fan in the room it wasn’t that effective. I think they are renovating so perhaps the newer rooms have aircon.

Hotel Guise is located in a great part of Nancy.
The hotel is located in a really great part of Nancy with wonderful sights and restaurants. It is a classic hotel with a great vibe; however, our only comment is that it doesn't have the convenience of a lift. The beautiful stone staircase and the remodeling is keeping with the character of the hotel and we would stay there again.

It is a beautiful old hotel in a 1753 building with the original stairs. The rooms are updated with modern bathrooms. It is an easy walk to the city center. Excellent small hotel

It was a super cute place-very close to Place Stanislas and thus restaurants! The hotel was nice-could have been cleaner-floors had hair and there was a half drank bottle of water in the room on our arrival so I worried that it wasn’t cleaned properly. Verbally though we were really pleased!

The hotel staff is excellent and speaks French, English and German. The rooms however are not that great...too dark, no mini bar, limited TV ( no English) There are no amenities, very basic hotel in good location

We spent 2 lovely nights in this hotel, it was very cute and French. Our room was on the first floor and it seemed to be a designated "accessible" room; we passed through a charming terrace to go to our very clean, spacious and quiet room. The receptionists are friendly and they spoke English to accommodate to the non-French speakers. Breakfast was “A la Francaise” and costed about 12 Euros after taxes. There is no dedicated parking for this hotel: the hotel entrance is on a narrow one-way street with limited parking spots, which I would not recommend, since we saw many cars on these little streets with missing or broken side rear-view mirrors. There is a public parking in the corner of a huge square in about 5 minutes walking distance, which is free on Sundays and between 6:30PM and 10AM. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel.
