"The hotel was exactly what we wanted. We had the king size room with waterfront balcony. It was nice to sit outside and see the beautiful lake. Bugs got bad at night but that’s what you expect with being lakefront in the summer time. We eat breakfast in the restaurant on property, buffet style. It was good, staff were very friendly."

"The grounds and the restaurants are beautiful. Our room in the main bldg, 3rd floor was not as nice as I thought it might be or hoped it to be. It was clean but antiquated. We were not able to control the upper air vent, the low mode made it chilly. Additionally, one of our sinks had a very slow drain. In conclusion, the price we paid should have reflected more!"

"Location is great, direct lake side, downtown with nice restaurants and visitor center within 1/4 mile. Liked the recreational vibe along the lake. Has Nothing to do with property: Surprised that the lakefront was not more developed with more hotels and restaurants. It’s actually a good thing! Nice area!"
