"Great value for money. 3 rooms on 2nd floor and 1st floor is common area with toliet, shower, kitchen, refrigerator.
Traditional Japanese style room. Room is simple with matress, small ground table, A/C. Not much soundproof.
No elevator & need to use stiff stairs. Host seems living in 1st floor. Use key to open/close room.
Place is located on the side of small car road, not inside. Search '清舎' on google map."

"I went here as a single traveller with little to Japanese language skills and found it amazing. Though the staff had limited English, everything was communicated well and I felt very welcomed and comfortable. It’s very close to all the main attractions of Nara, but out of the way enough to where you’re not surrounded by people all the time. If I ever go back to Nara, I will certainly stay here again. "

"We had a wonderful stay! Spacious rooms, beautiful views of the rice ponds. The staff was friendly and always went above and beyond for us. They made our stay extra memorable and we hope to return in the future."

"Overall property was excellent and location was great within walking distance to all the famous temples in Nara Park. However when requesting a taxi to take us back to the train station it took longer than expected and we missed our train departure. Also taxi/car is limited as the hotel is located directly in the park. Walking is faster but with heavy luggage it’s not very convenient."

"We were visiting during Golden Week and were surprised to learn that the wait for breakfast exceeded one hour.
The breakfast was amazing, so the wait was worth it, but I didn’t enjoy spending so much time waiting when I wanted to be out exploring Japan.
Other than that, I loved the tatami floors and being able to walk around in socks throughout our entire stay.
One thing I would have liked to use was the massage chairs. Unfortunately, they were always occupied, and out of the six available, two or three were out of service."
"The location was conveniently close to Ōsaka station, and the area around the hotel was lively with entertainment and shopping options. Despite the nightlife outside the door, the hotel was quiet and tranquil with an excellent in-house sento. The room was spacious (by Japanese standards) and very comfortable."
"We booked the execute floor deluxe king room and it was amazing. The room was very specious with two large windows with amazing city views. The lounge had a great variety of snacks and drinks, even champagne. Breakfast was in the executive floor with a buffet and some à la carte options. Location is perfect for exploring the city with few metro stations nearby.
All staff was extremely polite and helpful.
Looking forward to staying at the Royal Park again."
"Modern, super clean, helpful & pleasant staff, steps to Universal Studios & train. Only shopping nearby is at touristy Universal Studios. Breakfast was only so, so. No sitting areas. But the hotel was great!"
