The only small downside was the dinner. The price was high compared to the value, especially the steak, which I hope can be improved in the future. "

"This is a beautiful property with impeccable service and amazing views of the volcano. Our family suite was very large with an instagram worthy view of the volcano from our balcony. The grounds are beautiful- the trees, flowers, water features, just gorgeous. A good sized pool and several hot springs are part of the property. The breakfast buffet was great- lots of choice with polished service. This is definitely one of the more beautiful upscale properties in La Fortuna. We had several tours that included various hotel pick ups and no hotel compared to the beauty of this property, even other five star hotels. I would definitely stay here again. "

The staff was amazing and attentive (especially Hamid and Kevin), the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible, the bedding was great, and the grounds made you feel like you were on a retreat.
