Very relaxing.

Carrowmore House is everything it's made out to be. Beautifully presented. Such a choice of rooms and decks to relax in. Finish each day with a wine on the front verandah in the last of the sun. Everything you could need is there.

More than we expected!

We expected a tiny cottage but this was a roomy cottage. We enjoyed the artwork and artifacts around the house and appreciated the wonderful log burner which warmed the whole house. The kitchen was well designed and had everything that we needed. The kune kune pigs with the cute kitten who seemed to live with them were a bonus. We would have liked to have met our hosts or spoken to them - they were obviously interesting people. We live in Otago and plan to revisit in the spring to check out the garden (and the pigs).
