Great location and amenities!
Located in a quiet neighborhood next to a beautiful park. Great coffee shop, Frothy Monkey and restaurant Lockeland Table within walking distance. The suite is plenty roomy for a couple- king bed, bathroom with double sinks, and a separate kitchenette / sitting room / closet. One of the best VRBOs we have stayed in over the years.

Came back, and everything was just as good as the first time!
We had stayed at this property before and really liked how it was a simple place to just stay when you're tired so you can spend the rest of the time wandering around Nashville. Came back a year later, and it was more of the same. Clean, convenient, and affordable!

This space was perfect for my friend and I!! 5-10 minute drive to anywhere we went ! Yall the bed/bedding is WONDERFUL!! Very clean - in a safe neighborhood! There was coffee and snacks! Great location
We enjoyed our long weekend. We spent a lot of time eating out so didn’t miss having a full kitchen. The kuerig and small fridge were all we needed for breakfasts.

SEC getaway
This was a perfect stay! We were in town for the SEC—our team’s outcome may not have been what we had hoped—but Shelby House was a winner! The place is so cute—light and airy—neat and clean as can be! The property description was spot on—but even better in person. We were pleasantly surprised with how thoughtfully it was supplied—everything exceeded our expectations. Great hosts—great experience! We’ll hope to be back next year!

Very Clean!
Extremely satisfied with our stay! Very comfortable, clean and quiet. The coffee bar was a nice touch along with complimentary breakfast bars, smart water, and chips/Doritos for a quick snack. We felt very safe and the owners were very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location
Our first time staying on site with the host was fantastic. Even though we shared the building, we always felt comfortable at this property. Rudy was a kind and communicative host. A storm knocked out the WiFi and he kept us updated on restoration. The unit was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to the park and the East Nashville restaurants. Getting to downtown was fast and simple. Highly recommend Rudy’s place if you need a convenient and lovely spot to stay.

Wedding weekend
Great place to stay in East Nashville. Walkable to Shelby Park and food. The set up was great and private.the place was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I had a mild confusion of the set up prior to arriving but you enter through the front door of the house and have a private entrance separate from the rest of the house right as you walk in. Highly recommend.

Small home away from home
When pulling up the house the poporty manager introduced himself before i could get out of the car super friendly he answered all my emails, texts and phone calls. Spent two night here. the property is located in Shelby park neighborhood. At night it is a quiet neighborhood made it easy to fall asleep and stay asleep if you wake up hungry i highly recommended the Frothy Monkey it is also within walking distance. the house Close to downtown about a 10 to 15 minute drive depending on traffic.

Pleasantly Convenient
This was the perfect choice for our recent stay in Nashville. I was pleasantly surprised at how close the airport it was--within no noise pollution at all. Quaint, quiet neighborhood. It was close to Broadway, walking distance to eateries, minutes from the Grand Ole Opry. Somedays we used the car and others, Lyft. The property manager(s) were really nice, I would highly recommend this listing.

Short re-visit to Nashville
We visited Nashville 5 years ago and had such a great time we wanted to revisit. At the first visit we used our travel trailer for accommodations. However we have since sold our trailer and rather than stay at a hotel we opted for VRBO. So this was our first experience using VRBO. We couldn't have been more pleased. Our visit and small suite were great- thanks for making it such a pleasurable visit!

Fantastic accommodations and great location!
The spot was incredibly clean and comfortable with bonus treats graciously left by the host. My partner and I enjoyed a great day in the awesome park that was a quick walk away. We spent our first evening checking out some great dinner/drink spots kindly recommended to us by Rudy. Our purpose of being there was to see a show at the Ascend Amphitheater downtown which was a super easy and cheap Uber ride away. For being SO close to the city we could not get over how quiet and calm the space was. We will definitely be bookmarking to stay here anytime we’re in Nashville.

Quick stay near Nashville
Great place to stay near Nashville for the price. The only downside was a little further from downtown than ideal, but it was about 10 or 15 bucks each way for Uber/Lyft, etc. Otherwise, very nice one bedroom for a few days away for my wife and I. Would stay here again.

Peaceful, clean, restful getaway
Very nice place to stay, much similar in size to a hotel suite without having to listen to people in the hallway at all hours. Very easy to check in/out. My sister and I stayed here while we were visiting my daughter for a weekend getaway. The only thing it lacked was a handrail on the 2 sets of steps to enter the house. We both have balance issues and wouldn't have been able to maneuver the steps if my daughter hadn't been there to help us. That's my fault for not asking about handrails. The rest of the stay was very nice.

AMAZING
We absolutely LOVED our home away from home! It was so very clean, cozy and so nicely decorated!! They provided coffee, tea, beverages, water and snacks, along with much reading materials on Nashville. Location was perfect; just minutes away from downtown! It was wonderful having the hosts so close and available if we needed anything! Thank you Rudy and Meredith for providing us a beautiful place to stay! My sister and I spent 3 nights here and it was wonderful. The room and neighborhood are great. It is a nice and quiet location offering privacy during your stay. There is a great breakfast place within walking distance and everything else was a short Uber ride away. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Nashville!

The suite is just as described! It was very clean and SO cute. Other reviews mentioned being disappointed that it wasn’t a stand alone property- but it is clearly listed that it is a suite in a home. You do have your own private entrance and private door that locks. I loved the coffee bar area and the bathroom was gorgeous! It is in a great location. Perfect for a couples vacation. I would stay here again!

We needed a quick 2 night stay for a reunion/ birthday in East Nashville. This VRBO worked perfectly. It is just a suite in the owners home. You can occasionally hear voices—nothing that distracted. The bathroom is spacious, there is a small room to eat with a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee service. Dishes/utensils are available—we brought our own milk, juice and cereal so it worked well. The bed is king size—a little soft for me—but that is simply a personal preference. The owners are nice —happened to meet them when we were walking to the house and they made sure we had no problems with the two entries. Other than that, we didn’t see them. Definitely would recommend.

Great location
What a great little place. Great location. Enjoyed having coffee and snacks available. Check-in/out was super simple. Rudy was a great host. If I were to say anything semi negative, would be not having access to change the setting on the A/C ourselves .. BUT .. Rudy accomodated changing and I'm sure would have changed again if had been asked. Would definitely recommend and would most certainly stay again.

Great weekend trip!!!
My son and I traveled to Nashville for a concert and stayed to explore Nashville while we were there. I am so thankful to have found this suite. It was everything that we needed. It is exactly what you see in the pictures. I loved it as soon as I stepped in the door. The hosts had stocked the coffee bar which was amazing. There were bottles of water for the Keurig and also smart waters in the fridge. Such a nice touch. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and just out of the hustle and bustle of down town but close enough for a short Uber ride to the attractions. We were able to relax with a good nights sleep before the next days adventure. Thank you so much for making such a comfortable place for travelers to stay. I recommend this property to anyone taking a weekend trip to Nashville. It’s just lovely.

This listing is perfect for a person or couple vacationing in Nashville. The one-bedroom suite is connected to the owners house, but is completely private with your own code-locked entryway. The suite was clean and comfortable, and had a comfortable king size bed. It is located on a quiet street just a short uber/lyft ride from Broadway. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again if we are ever back in Nashville.

A perfect spot for a little getaway
My husband and I lived in Nashville for 7 years so we knew specifically what neighborhood we wanted to stay in when we went back for a concert at the Ryman. The cozy cottage was just as advertised. Very stylish, clean, and welcoming. The bed was also extremely comfortable. Would recommend this to any couple visiting Nashville.

It was like a beautiful hotel room attached to a house! Had everything you needed, clean as can be. Big bathroom, big bed, kitchen area. We Ubered to Broadway. Felt perfectly safe there. Meredith and Rudy were always there if you needed anything. We would stay there again! thank you so much.

Just outside of downtown but yet close enough to rideshare into town. Good safe parking. Quiet neighborhood except for the morning municipal bus that flys by and over 50 mph. This is a perfect clean space for couples.

The place was super cute and clean. Issues came when there was quite a bit of noise above us. Sounded like someone walking around for an hour or more in heels, something rolling along the floor above us, furniture moving (?) and could smell everything being cooked either upstairs or in the room next to us. Great little place for a minimalist and someone that doesn’t mind very strong food odors. Great location to downtown Nashville but probably won’t stay there again.

SEC Tournament
This was a great spot for us to stay for the SEC tournament! Price was perfect, especially with all of the over priced hotel rates. The accommodations were perfect. Everything was clean, and they even had drinks in the refrigerator, snacks on the table & coffee the next morning for us. Highly recommend staying here!
