Wanted to be in a quiet part of Nashville but within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. This met our requirements and had the added bonus of great staff, being clean and comfortable and little extras like the evening wine/beer and nibbles. The only thing we can fault our room (Polk) for was lack of countertop space in the bathroom, there were glass shelves above the WC (don’t like keeping toothbrushes above a WC) and with such a lovely big bathroom it could have done with more.

The property is so cute, lots of places in walking distance yet only a mile and a half from the strip. The staff here are amazing, we will definitely be telling everyone about this little gem! Breakfast every morning & charcuterie/wine every night was a plus as well

We feel like we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay in Nashville. This beautifully restored townhouse blends history and modern style seamlessly, and the entire neighborhood invites strolling, shopping, and dining. The staff could not have been nicer. We would like to return here every time we come to Nashville.

Great inn located in historic Germantown. Close to local restaurants, shops and cafes. Close to the city center but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We walked to the farmer's market and Capitol Mall State Park. The rooms at the inn are modern and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in the lobby and there are outdoor seating areas. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.

We loved the ambiance of Germantown Inn and found it clean, very quiet and comfortable. We arrived on a rainy afternoon and had time allowed, would have loved to sit in the common area and relax with a book--it is just lovely. The staff were warm and welcoming. The charcuterie box was just what we needed for a light snack before a night at the Ryman (very easy trip into the Ryman also). Such a better experience than we would have had at a big box hotel! We stayed in the Jackson and the only thing I would caution (as the photos reflect but I missed upon booking the room) is that onne side of the bed is up against the wall, so for older couples it may be difficult to manuever if you have to get out of bed in the middle of the night. Next time (and there will be a next time!) we will book one of the larger rooms.

The inn was lovely and the staff was very friendly. The young man who checked us in upgraded us at no charge to a larger room because it happened to be available. We hadn't requested an upgrade. That was very kind and the room was beautiful and spacious. The outdoor area looks very charming, although it was a bit too cold for us to enjoy it this visit. My only complaint was that the breakfast was rather basic and not particularly good. We couldn't eat the quiche because both days it had pork in it and the rest of the food—packaged hard boiled eggs and pastries all appeared to be purchased at Costco. Another nice touch though was the wine and snack box they served during happy hour. So, If they spruced up the breakfast a bit I would say the place is perfect.

The hotel was very nice, comfortably furnished and warm and welcoming. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful and professional. Location was great and far enough away from the noise but close enough to the main drag that you Uber there in 5 minutes.

The Germantown Inn was amazing. The staff was so friendly, especially Chrissy. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was unique serving of quiche, fruit, danishes, yogurt, coffee and juices. In the evening was treated to wine, beer and charcuterie sampling. The location is perfect walking distance to some really good restaurants and pubs. Also an easy 1 mile walk to downtown Nashville. This place is the best of both worlds, able to have the quaintness of Germantown and the fun times of downtown. Will definitely stay here on our next visit to Nashville.

Quaint inn within a historic neighborhood. Parking available on the property or street. We stayed in the Roosevelt room in the back building upstairs. We had a quiet and restful stay. The staff was very accommodating to all of our questions about what to do and see in the greater Nashville area. There are plenty of restaurants etc. in walking distance. This will be our go to place to stay on our next visit to Nashville.

Alwaya a five star experience in a quant, beautiful neighborhood in Nasville. Free parking, wonderful accommodations, great breakfast and happy hour, and the best staff you will find at any hotel! We never go to Nashville without spending a night Or two at the Germantown Inn. It"s a gem and well worth the price.

Nestled in the charming Germantown neighborhood, it is peaceful and relaxing boutique hotel. It is close to many small neighborhood restaurants and shops. It was only a 1 mile walk through the Bicentennial Mall to all the action. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. We loved our stay.

The proprietors of the Germantown Inn are delightful and work to make every guest feel welcome. We enjoyed the charcuterie welcome box and the very comfortable bed and bedding. Our only big disappointment was that our room, the Buchanan, did not have adequate air conditioning. We visited during a heatwave in July, but for the price point we expected more. The hallway was crisp and cool, but the minute we were shown to our room, the door was opened and we were met with a wall of warm and musty air. An employee led us in, so I am sure she felt it as well but did not say anything. We closed the curtains and blinds tight before we went out for the evening to a concert at the Ryman (very convenient) hoping it would be better after the sun went down, but it was still warm, muggy, and musty in our room upon our return that night. A convenient area of town, delightful patio, and comfortable bed, but we would not come back in the summer.

This is truly a special Inn. Everyone we met was super nice and helpful. The daily happy hour which included 2 beer/wine each and a wonderful, tasty charcuterie box. It included 2 kinds of meat, 3 cheeses, 2 different crackers , a selection of olives, nuts, fruits and more. One evening it was our dinner! We met so many delightful fellow travelers from all over the US. The breakfast was delicious also! Great selection of teas which as a tea drinker I appreciated ! When we told the lady at breakfast That we were headed to Franklin for the day she recommended sites that weren’t on our radar and we had an awesome day there and Liepers Fork. We would definitely come back.
