"The coffee machine was broken. We were there 5 nights. The second day they put a thermos of coffee out for self serve but never - all week- did they serve cream. The pool was closed all week as they added chlorine? In 5 days they cleaned our room once. We gave them lots of reminders and requests, but no one cared. I would have at least sent a manager to pick up some cream, how hard is that. We had to pick up our own towels daily."

"There was plenty of parking and we felt safe to park at the resort. When we arrived on Thursday, the registration line at the cascade area was crowded, but it moved fast and we were checked in about 15 minutes. The workers were very friendly and helpful. The resort was beautiful with gorgeous botanical gardens, tropical plants, plenty of waterfalls and nice walking paths. The hotel room was very clean, neat and comfortable. There were multiple dining areas, and small shops; but very pricy. The Soundwaves waterpark was extremely fun and relaxing. However, its probably best to go between May-August when the outdoor water park area is open as well. We really enjoyed the food at the Old Hickory steakhouse and the Cascade breakfast buffet. The relache spa was amazing as well. Also very pricy. But its always great to get a massage. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this resort. "

"The air conditioning was effective and loud in a good way that made it easy to sleep. There was not a coffee maker in the room but the coffee in the lobby was good. We recommend trying the yogurt from the dispenser at breakfast and adding frozen blueberries and sliced almonds from the toppings section. Next to the bagels you will find paper plates. The coffee is very hot. Think lava. If you must carry coffee and food back to your room for yourself and a companion, select a paper plate and place your coffees and food selections on the plate like a tray. The shower doors in the bathroom both slide back and forth. I like this. I do not like the bathrooms where there's no shower door, only half of a fixed glass wall. 11/10 would stay here again. "

"To be honest, I was disappointed. Normally Hyatts have high expectations. This hotel is in bad need of a Reno. The carpets throughout are disgusting. The elevator even has carpet, but it is worn down and so dirty it’s sticky. Front desk guy: Chad - fabulous… recommended restaurants and also told us if you’re going to the Opry to park at the mall so they don’t charge you $26 to park. Great tip! Breakfast was disappointing. Out of cream for coffee. No meat of any kind. Some hard boiled eggs and soggy French toast sticks - only sugar free syrup. Not what we were told it was going to be- sausage, bacon and biscuits and gravy were nowhere to be found. The sofa in our room was filthy with big stains throughout. Carpet in the room was gross. Shower curtain didn’t fit. Overall just not the nice high quality we are used to from a Hyatt property. "

"Place was in a very convenient location. Older property, but fairly well maintained. I only had interaction with 2 of the staff, but they were nice. Typical older motel. Front lobby and breakfast area seemed very clean. Limited but decent selection for breakfast. "
