Top National Library of Wales Hotel Reviews
Bodalwyn Guest House
8/10 Good
"Great location for walking to most places. Although not free, car park across the street convenient."
Starling Cloud, Aberystwyth by Marston’s Inns
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely, easy accessible hotel room, clean, modern and spacious. Bathroom was clean, bath had a chip in bottom, but didnt affect use and shower curtain could do with updating. Next to a lovely pub. Food was nice and service good and very easy to walk into the town and back, safely at night too, would recommend for the price!"
Harry's Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great value, superb location, got a very highly rated Italian right opposite, Little Italy it's called. Got a Tesco Express near by & it's under 10 mins walk to the bars, the pier, beach, train station etc 😊"
The Glengower
10/10 Excellent
"Great location right on the sea front. Lovely rooms and very comfy bed. The bedrooms and on suites appear to have all been recently renovated. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely. The only slight drawback is the parking - there isn't any. So, we had to risk parking on a random street away from the hotel. Also, the air vent for the kitchen extraction is like an aircraft engine blasting away right at the front of the building where the outdoor seating is."
The Cardigan Bay Guest House
8/10 Good
"Good place to say overlooking the beach and close to shops"
Harleys Aberystwyth

"In a good location and clean"
Gwesty'r Marine Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely sea front hotel in good location. Room was comfortable, nice restaurants in walking distance and lovely spa, just a shame we didn’t get to try any treatments (no information provided) or the steam room (they took too long to switch it on…)."
Large 5 bedroom town-centre home close to the beach, sleeps 9.
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed as a multi generational group for our daughter’s graduation at Aber uni. Jason’s house was ideal. It was clean and well equipt, lots of toilet roll (always an annoyance in many lets!), very well equipt kitchen with dishwasher & lots of fridge & freezer space, lots of games and we were very grateful for the fans left in every room. We were concerned about the parking when we booked but this was never a problem (& we came with 3 cars). We often found street parking nearby or used the football club long stay car park which was good value. The house is in the town centre but apart from the seagulls it was quiet. An easy walk to the beach, shops & restaurants. We had a great time & would love to stay again. Thank you."
Celtic Bay Guest House
8/10 Good
"Had a lovely stay here. Staff were helpful, location was perfect, room was really clean and it was amazing to have a sea view and be sent off to sleep by the sound of the waves on shingle! I would have rated it 5 stars if it hadn't been just a bit frayed around the edges - carpet was worn through and it was a shame the double glazing was shot as it was difficult to properly watch the sea through the condensation! Would definitely recommend for a no-frills stay in Aberystwyth."
