"Great location for the coast. Clean and well appointed as described. Outdoor area (including pool) was a great way to relax in the early evening. We took dips in the pool as we had coffee in the morning. Communications were great. All as described!"

"Close to the beach, nice clean rooms. Helpful staff. Breakfast at 8 Euros was a steal, although it does not start till 0800, depriving me of a chance to fill up for the day. Will stay here again."

"We had a room overlooking the beach which included a small balcony. I suspect that the views from the other rooms along the sides of the hotel were not quite so good. Beach access was easy - just cross the road and you're there. Mainly pebbles & coarse grit, with a few sandy patches. No problem renting a sunbed - plentiful supply. Several restaurants along the seafront, some good, some expensive. The evening buffet in the hotel was very high quality, plenty of choice, and even less expensive than most restaurants. Beach was busy but no rowdy occupants! This is our third visit & we will be back soon. "

"Loved every minute of my stay from check in to check out. It was like stepping back in time to old style Spanish hospitality. Staff addressed us by name from the moment we arrived and couldn’t do enough to help and make us feel welcome. The owner, Mercedes was always on hand and the staff Miguel and Nando remembered the little things, such as what we drank. Rooms spotlessly cleaned every day and the sea view was beautiful. "

"An incredible property with stunning views over La Herradura, and a number of terraces to enjoy it from. A perfect base to explore the area - with water sports and boat rental in La Herradura and great restaurants nearby in Nerja. "

"Beautiful villa. Car needed to get to La Herradura. Walk down to beach 10 mins, all down hill. But difficult walking back with heat and hills. Electric cut off on occasions/tripped. Luckily one of our guests could rectify. Team estate very responsive. "
