PAGEANT -Eagles Nest home with view of the Mississippi and Gorgeous Sunsets

10/10 Excellent
"The driveway really is very steep but the view is worth it. Very clean. Sheets are hot and stretchy, would prefer more of a cool cotton but that’s my preference. Then it is just the giant comforter on the bed, no lightweight blanket between… I needed more than a sheet but less than the thick comforter. Also worth noting was the king bed mattress was medium firm- the best of both worlds, premium. Pillows were not great but we had our own anyway. It also is adjustable head and foot heights. Good location! We went to the brewery in Warsaw as well, great food! The restaurants in Nauvoo were sub par if you ask me but the prices nearby make it something you can’t complain about. If you like winery’s then Press house is a more unique wine-no sugar or artificial chemical in fermentation. The taste is so rich and smooth. Baxter’s had the wine house that was a nice place but the wine was very pungent. The house was stocked with pans and utensils which made our stay better. Kureig coffee pods and maker. They left random condiments in the fridge too- we didn’t need them but they could be extremely useful! They also have some food /baking ingredients. There is a farm stand with eggs a few mins/miles south down the road (we bought the eggs). High tech toilet that sprays whenever you get too close. Overall this place was amazing with a few small tweaks I’d do- I know not everyone can be perfectly pleased :) loved it though"

"This house was the perfect place for our big family reunion at Nauvoo. Our kids really enjoyed the pool. The extra chairs and extra tables in the garage made it so we had enough room for all of us to eat in the dining area. The rooms and beds were clean and perfect for our large group. It is a beautiful location. We saw deer one morning and great evening sunsets over the Mississippi River from the porch. I highly recommend this house."
