"Despite the very average location with some nearby properties not being well kept, we were pleasantly surprised that Maria's property and the area around the Bungalows is very well developed, and very attractive. The view is terrific. Maria is a great hostess, met us upon arrival, checked on how we were enjoying our stay, and responded quickly to inquiries. Accommodations very clean and comfortable, and kitchen very well equipped. All in all a very pleasant stay."

"We love love loved our little weekend getaway at the Logden Lodge!! Truly a wonderful experience, the owners thought of everything even providing a flashlight and umbrella since we came during a rainy weekend. The cabins are perfectly laid out even having a private patio facing away from the other cabins. Perfect and definitely hope to make it back one day!"

"We really enjoyed the property. There are short hikes around the property, that you can link up to longer hikes if you choose. About 20 minutes from Nelson. There are a few cabins on the property, but very private and not all too close to each other. It was very quiet and easy to get to more urban areas if you choose. "The cabin is lovely. The kitchen is fantastic, well-equipped, and laid out beautifully. The Smeg fridge is lovely and retro and surprisingly holds a lot of food. The dishes/pottery are exceptional. The pots and pans etc are excellent, and a lot of them. The island is enormous, which is great. The bed is memory foam and unbelievably comfortable. The cabin was spotless. "We loved this place and would definitely recommend it. It lives up to the description and photos! The view is stunning day and night and it's 5 minutes from downtown. The kitchen was easy to cook in with everything we needed. We only gently heard faint footsteps upstairs and enjoyed being in someone's beautifully cared-for space. Only regret was not being there late enough in the season to see the gorgeous plantings come alive."
