Post is very welcoming and accommodating but Kevin was very clean Hot tub was clean and awesome it's very cozy spacious I would definitely stay there again
Very roomy place. Enjoyed stay, even with the bad weather. Quiet location. Unfortunately no cell service and no land line, so you have to drive in town to communicate with property management. All the staff at Adventure Pro Outdoors were super nice and helpful.

Could be fantastic..
House was nice enough and met the one level needs of my mom with mobility issues. However, one large issue i had with our stay was the wifi. The signal was super weak and we had connection issues.. tv would not connect at all. Host tells you to call with any issues, but there is zero cell service and no land line so wifi is necessary to do so. Was able to send messages on vrbo, but didnt get much help. Asked them to reset router, looked all over the house for it and couldnt find it.. service was great outside the house on one side but zero on the side with the hot tub (so no music while we were trying to enjoy it) okay in dining room, kitchen, and entry room, but didnt work in bedrooms downstairs or living room where the only tv was.. put 2 and 2 together and realized that the internet is coming from the business next door that the host company also owns. Explains why i couldnt find a router and was told that the internet wasnt working due to "being out in the woods" and the "weather" despite the dozens of reviews saying the internet sucks. Its a shame the host would rather lie to customers than get a wifi extender as suggested by so many reviews. Also wanted to note that when i specifically asked about the router i didnt get a response, nor did i get a response when i told them there were ants on the kichen island which got into some of our food. They make it clear they dont give refunds for bugs or wifi issues in their welcome book.
The house was huge! Plenty of space. Hot tub was great actually had to turn it down a few times because it was too hot 102⁰ but location was great, also has a pool, but it wasnt open set still out of season a bit, but wiuld live to stay again so we could use the pool.
Kitchen was fully equiped for cooking. Nice size driveway and yard. Everything was clean. The heat distributed a little funky as the 2 downstairs bedrooms got a bit cold at night. Probably should add a note that there isn't any cell reception in the house (we had nothing on Verizon, AT&T, or T-Mobile). The wifi had good signal strength and was fairly fast and it was definitely our lifeline without reception :). Host had good communication.
My girlfriend group of four stayed as we were participating in the Mammoth March. The home was a bit challenging to find and the cell service is spotty but it was indeed a relaxing refuge following a grueling 20 mile hike! They had a well appointed kitchen, lots of towels and the air conditioning worked nicely! The hot tub was absolutely a dream after the hike!
We were very pleased with our stay. Close to atv trails, which was great for our family, but also close enough to explore hocking hills. Hot tub, and fire pit were both great. We would stay again for sure!
Very cozy house for 7 adults staying for the Nelsonville Music Festival. House was comfortable and as described with easy communication with owners. Would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed our stay at Riders Roost. Property was clean and had what we needed for our stay. We spent time exploring Hocking Hills State Park and were able to come back and relax after our hikes. Check in/ check out was easy and we were given suggestions for things to do and places to eat.
Great house easy to get to and management was very accessible

I was very disappointed when we got to the house. Previous conversation with the renter and they told us there was a pool on the property, that is the main reason I rented the house. My kiddos were super bummed. We made the best of it, but don't rent it thinking there is a pool, you will be very sadly disappointed.
We throughly enjoyed our stay here. Close drive to Hocking Hills and to Athens. We loved coming home each day to the awesome hot tub. House offers lots of room and was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. We walked a bit directly behind the house on what seemed to be an old ATV path and it was very pretty and serene.
My partner and I are in our 60's, so having a nature spot to enjoy, a very nice hot tub, and an indoor whirlpool tub was quite therapeutic. Overall a peaceful weekend to pamper and recharge! Would recommend :)
The house is awesome inside besides the sewer smell. I left 4 days early because of it. They wouldn't refund my days I didn't stay and now have a lawyer involved. Don't stay here.
For the price, this place is a steal! It was very clean, spacious, and had all of the things we were looking for. We had a great hike and enjoyed being outdoors the majority of our time. The only thing I would have liked better would be a contactless check in, instead of driving into town to sign in and get a key. All in all, this was the prefect two day getaway for the three of us and our two dogs!
We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean, I did have to wash the frying pan before using, still had food on it from the previous tenants. I had forgot to bring spices, having a few basics in the cupboards would of been great. Other than that it was great stay, and woulddo it again..
