This hotel is super practical when you come to the NIFFF. It is close to the cinemas and to restaurants. It is perfect to rest a few hours before going back to the festival. The only minor issue is that the bedding is getting a bit old, hence the beds are not super comfortable. Appart from that it is perfect.

Perfect stay in Perfect Location. Friendly staff and nice and huge room with balcony. The ratings were not the best- what we can’t commit. Would recommend the hotel any time. We had a superior double room and even the mini bar was included. Nice surprise …! When Neuchâtel again- the same hotel. Very central located - could do anything by foot.

The receptionists especially a lady called Nora are extremely accommodating and looking after the clients. Also the cleaners are friendly! My room Superior was very large airy and super comfortable. Trains from every direction and airports are 5 min from the hotel . Also the amenities supermarkets shops boutique and the Lake are reachable by 7 minutes walk

The room was nice and spacious, clean and beds were comfortable, however with no air-conditioning available it was extremely warm and quite uncomfortable. If you left the windows open, there was no breeze and all you heard was the city noise which was loud and very difficult to sleep.

Hotel is situated close to the old town center, on the street going to train station, however well isolated from street noise; the room we rented was huge , the largest we rented in our vacation in Switzerland , with plenty of storage, two desks with chairs; bed was also big and comfortable; even the bathroom had plenty of storage ; room had also an extra space a closed balcony with a table and two chairs . From our room we could not see the lake Geneve but the receptionist recommended a lounge area with a terrace from where we took pictures of the lake ; that area has sofas , coffee tables and chairs to accommodate even a big group of people . Staff was friendly and gave us the possibility to log an to an application for free public transportation and a lot of promotions to different historical places , museums and attractions; we took advantage and went on a two hour cruise on the lake . Neuchatel is beautiful, full of charm and we regret not having booked more days at this hotel and this town

Good place to explore Neuchâtel.

Looks old inside, but quite ok for a few nights. Fridge is not installed, but it was ok for us. We had foods kept in balcony, and we brought only food for each day. Staffs are kind and helpful. Location is perfect. 7 min walk to station, port, old city.

One night at Neuchatel to explore. Hotel very welcoming but room contained a frustrating coffee machine that refused to work properly... probably 'user error'! The bar downstairs was a very suitable fallback.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the train station but also not from the city center and the lake. We had a big room which we enjoyed. There was a balcony which we used though it faced a busy street. The rug in the room was dirty in some places, which is something we had not expected. But overall, a nice stay.

Location and staff very good. Everything so close but hotel try to charge you everything like, cleaning, extra hour if you can not check out at 11 and there is no fridge, no iron, no water bottle. Nothing if free. They try to ripe you off for everything.

Good value stay

Better than we expected based on other reviews, comfortable and clean which is all we were really looking for at this price point; good value for Neuchâtel. Couple of annoyances: although the room has an espresso maker, you have to pay 1- CHF per coffee capsule (not mentioned on the property/room details) which I’ve never seen before in a hotel. Also the hairdryer in the bathroom didn’t work.
