"Nice property, great staff, modern room, and clean"

"It was a cute hotel, the staff were very nice but overall it wasn't the best experience. First they gave us a key to a room that wasn't ready. So we went back down and got a new key. That room was almost ready i.e. the pillows were on the couch and not on the bed. There was mold on the wall under hook for the towels. There was also some mildew/mold in grout around the tub. We stayed 2 nights. When we came back to our room on the second day it was clear they had not swept the floor from the amount of sand that was left behind. They didn't wipe down the sink and the bed was thrown together. They replaced a few towels but left the wet ones. I know it's by the beach but everything was very damp and the room smelled musty. There was no contential breakfast, not even a muffin. There was a coffee station that had hot water with no tea. I don't drink coffee so this was disappointing. The staff said 'the shipment hadn't come in" but being in hospitality for 15 years myself best practices say if the shipment is late you go to the grocery store. Figure it out."

"The room was updated and very clean! However, I strongly dislike it when the advertising for the resort doesn't state when amenities listed, aren't available. Had i known the splash pad was broken and the indoor pool, hot tub was also unavailable I would not have booked there. Also, I didn't like that you could so loudly hear tge people above us. It sounded like a heard of elephants above us. When I asked for more coffee, I was sent to find the maintenance/ housekeeping building vs it being available at the front desk where it was supposed to be. If I'm staying 3 nights I would expect coffee for three nights. I probably won't stay here again but the rooms themselves were great ."

"Breakfast was incredible: eggs/sausage/bagels/cereal/homemade waffles/juices/coffee - it had everything I could think of. The room was spacious. It had a desk, sofa, and a very comfortable bed with a nice bathroom. It exceeded my expectations. "
