Get Away
The property was bigger than I expected. The place was spick & span. There were a lot of items available to eat. They even had honey (which I use in my coffee). Unfortunately, we did not get to meet our hosts but maybe we will use their place again when we return and will meet them then. It was very convenient to the things we wanted to do while we were there

Nice little place while visiting the Lancaster, Pa area
Very clean, nice little place. Everything you need for a great stay while in the Lancaster, Pa area. Cozy apartment that is very comfy and welcoming. It was good to be able to come back and relax after all our daily activities. The owners are very friendly people who are only a call away if needed. They even brought us fresh doughnuts on the morning we were leaving.

Overnight Concert Stay
I have stayed at this rental several times before and Janice always keeps it immaculately. This time I brought my sister because we had tickets to see Jeremy Camp - who did a great concert! I gave my sister the queen bed and I slept on sofa bed. I didn’t find the sofa bed comfortable unfortunately- I think all sofa beds aren’t comfortable for older adults. But Janice had it all set up and welcoming. Another thing I never experienced here was the heating pipes are noisy. I usually go in summer so didn’t experience that before. I brought a sound machine with me which helped and I know the bedroom has one available. The weather wasn’t on our side this time / very cold and windy so it prevented us from enjoying the full beauty of her property 😉 I still will be using this property in future if I come by myself or with my grands. My husband passed away last October in our 45th wedding anniversary- so if I travel to Lancaster I like knowing this is a safe place to stay 😁

Beautiful stay
After a long day of shopping, to come and relax at such a nice place made things even more enjoyable. Loved the firepit and all the sounds of the peaceful country air. Grill worked great and everything that was listed was all there.

Beautiful, very clean basement apartment
The basement apartment with it's own separate entrance was wonderful. Everything is very clean and looks newly renovated. The separate bedroom was nice so our daughter could sleep on the pull out. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. In addition to the pull out sofa you see next to the dining room table, there is a completely separate living room with 3 more sofas and 2 comfortable chairs so it was nice to be able to stretch out and relax after a long day of siteseeing. The host was gracious and responsive to questions. I would recommend this property!

Relaxing stay in Amish Country
First, let me say we enjoyed our stay. We were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling cider and note as it was our wedding anniversary. The place was clean and very spacious with comfortable bed. Breakfast is not a host home cooked meal but the unit is stocked with cereal, granola bars and frig with Sunny Delight, milk and water. There is no TV. We contacted the hosts and made them aware it was listed as having one when it doesn't. I wish we could have taken advantage of the outdoor living areas which looked terrific. Overall, a good place with super smooth check in, space and rapid access to the heart of the Amish country.

We were impressed with the roominess, cleanliness, and the generosity of the hosts. They accommodated our requests without hesitation and did not want payment to replace an outdoor solar light we damaged when backing out at night. The entrance was convenient and the place easy to find, right in the middle of all the places we needed to visit. There was an abundance of excellent snacks, fruit, and simple breakfast foods made available for our use. I would without hesitation recommend AnJ BnB to anyone needing good value in basic accommodations in Eastern Lancaster County!

Wonderful time at a beautiful location
This was an amazingly cheap price for the location and amenities that you get access to. The actual place is nicer than the pictures suggest. It’s super clean and a very fresh house with older nostalgic style. You get access to all ages bikes, fire pit with firewood, swing set , hammocks and patio picnic area. I understand why some reviewers mentioned that they plan on coming back here. All those things for a very cheap price with a kind couple that manage their basement with fast response time. This property is worth way more. I had a great time with my kids.

We stayed at ANJ Bed & Breakfast from August 6, 2023 - August 12, 2023. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Both Aaron and Janice were very kind and welcoming! They made us feel very comfortable. They had stocked the refrigerator and freezer with plenty of breakfast items including milk and orange juice. The breakfast area was also stocked with cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bars, and homemade granola. This was such a nice surprise! The homemade granola was absolutely delicious!! I would love to know how to make that! Janice even offered to wash our towels for us since we were staying for a full week. We really appreciated that! We enjoyed spending time playing and relaxing in the yard. The gazebo swing and hammock swings were very nice. Our kids really enjoyed the swing set and bikes, and the views from the back yard of the surrounding farmland and mountains in the distance were beautiful! A great place to sit and enjoy the early morning. The house is conveniently located within minutes to all of the major area attractions and restaurants. Thank you Aaron and Janice for hosting us at your beautiful home! God bless you both!

This property is so much more than you see online. Aaron and Janice make absolutely sure that you have everything you could possibly need. You will absolutely love it from the moment you pull into the driveway. The yard is so inviting we really wished we could have stayed a few days. This was our second time here and look forward to visiting again.

This is a very nice apartment. It's in a nice country setting, but close to many local towns. Everything was very clean. We did not spend any time in the yard area, but it looked very nice. I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

Such a Relaxing Place to Stay!
This was our 4th stay at Aaron & Janice's vacation rental and, as always, we thoroughly enjoyed our week there. Inside, it's clean and very thoughtfully decorated. Outside, there is lots of space to sit and enjoy the beauty of the nicely landscaped yard. It's such a relaxing place to stay!

AnJ bed and breakfast was the best!
Our whole stay on this property was awesome, it is a great space for families to relax while still being close to everything that the area has to offer. Its on a nice quiet street with lots of things for kids and adults to do while just hanging out in the back yard. The hosts are wonderful and have nice detailed instructions on where things are in and outside of the house. Overall we had a great time and will return in the future for another stay.

Celebrating grandma’s 99th birthday
My daughter, grandmother, and I came to celebrate her 99th birthday. The house was set up great for a wheelchair. The amenities are incredible. A Peaceful Setting After Busy Days Out!
We very much appreciate the clean and peaceful setting of Janice and Aaron's lovely vacation rental! It's centrally located close to many Lancaster County attractions. After a busy day out (we were there for 9 days), the spacious backyard lends itself to a time to relax and unwind. This was our third time staying here and we have already reserved a fourth time!

Just what we needed!
Recently enjoyed a three night stay. We are very familiar with this area but the first time staying at this location. The apartment was spotless. Very warm and inviting. Everything that we could have needed or had questions about was right at our fingertips. The yard was so peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I accidently left an item behind and Janice very graciously returned it. Will definitely stay here again.
