★ So much space, beautiful décor, and the outdoor area was perfection.
Stained-glass windows throw kaleidoscopic patterns across the rooms of this Lower Garden District home, where period architecture and genuine comfort occupy the same address. Soaring ceilings and original details carry the weight of New Orleans history, while every practical need is thoughtfully covered. Step through the private entrance and feel the city slow down a little.
Living space The main living areas give your group room to breathe without feeling spread too thin. Natural light shifts through the stained-glass panes at different angles throughout the day, and a TV is available for evenings in or winding down after a long stretch of exploring.
Sleeping arrangements Three distinct bedrooms accommodate up to six guests across four beds, each room carrying its own character. Three full bathrooms - stocked with bathtub, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel - keep mornings running smoothly for everyone. A washer, dryer, hangers, bed linens, and clothing storage are all provided so you can settle in properly.
Kitchen & dining The chef’s kitchen is set up for serious cooking: stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, baking sheet, and cooking basics are all ready to go. Island seating makes it easy to gather while someone cooks, and the wet bar is a natural spot for evening drinks before heading out. Pull up to the dining table for a proper sit-down, or take it outside when the mood strikes.
Outdoor living A balcony and patio extend the home’s living space into the open air. A stone fountain anchors the patio, outdoor furniture invites you to linger, and the BBQ grill is ready for anyone who wants to cook outside. New Orleans stays mild through fall and winter, meaning these spaces remain genuinely usable well beyond the warmer months.
Amenities Central air conditioning and heating keep the home comfortable whatever the season. Fast Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, and self check-in via smart lock cover the practical essentials, and free parking on premises removes one of the city’s reliable inconveniences. Smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit are all in place.
Neighborhood Magazine Street - lined with independent boutiques, cafes, and some of the city’s most-loved restaurants - is a short walk from the front door. The World War II Museum is nearby, and the French Quarter is within easy reach. The home sits at a natural crossroads of local character and city-wide access, making it an ideal base for Mardi Gras, New Year’s Eve, the Sugar Bowl, Krewe of Joan of Arc, and spring festival visits alike.

Beautiful home! So much space! Bedrooms were generous inside as was a spectacular master bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Several common areas with lots of seating on both floors. Nice backyard patio as well.
Everything was sparkling clean. Our host reached out several times to make sure everything was working well and to suggest activities in New Orleans that we might want to see.
The house is beautiful and the location is great. The air conditioning made the house incredibly comfortable. There was a little bit of a bug issue going on in the house. I saw evidence of termites in the kitchen and the master bath. There were flying bugs in the kitchen area and we killed several cockroaches. I know that’s just part of life in this climate, but the property might need a pest control visit.
