Adorable, clean one bedroom in walking distance to so much NOLA has to offer. We had a blast and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Samuel for a great stay!

STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK; you’ve been warned. My first thought when I pulled up in front of the building I was shocked to see it was the worst & most run down look I’d ever seen. Then to carry all the bags up steep, narrow stairs was a little frightening. The building was really old and you could tell it had not been taken care of. When I unlocked the door the first thing I saw the sloped tabletop in the kitchen are. Further walking through the place it was sparsely furnished and the lamp in the bedroom wasn’t plugged in because the outlets for the room was on the other side. Not sure the reason for putting a lamp on a table if you cannot use it? After surveying everything I told myself I can do this if I treat similar to camping. Additionally the racks in the freezer/refrigerator were rusted and the dishware was not only lacking but looked it was collected from other items people would throw away. The worst part of the entire experience was when the toilet wouldn’t flush. My first thought was NOLA is old and it just may take a little longer. It wasn’t until the bowl wasn’t emptying at all that I reached out to the property/owner yo ;et them know. And the response they gave was shocking! I was provided a list of three local in the area that I could their facilities. It was at that time I noticed the water continuing to rise in the bowl and getting dangerously close to the edge. I grabbed the plunger sitting behind the toilet but it was broken.
