Super location!

We chose because it was close to family, but would choose again anyway! Walkable to everything, quiet neighborhood, and Dee is a great host! We had everything we needed, and had a great week!

Absolutely phenomenal

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and had a wonderful time. Cute spot very good area. Host is fantastic - amazing communication, flexible about timing, so kind. 11/10 recommend to stay here.

Dee, the host for the room was very hospitable. The location was near a safe street to walk to all the chaos of Frenchman, but on the quiet neighborhood of Marigny. Would stay there again and refer others

Perfect location!

Cozy little place to rest in walking distance of everything! We averaged 17,000 steps and loved being in the Marigny. Dee is the sweetest and if we get to come back to NOLA, we’ll happily stay with her again!!

Amazing stay!

Dee was so kind and welcoming! The room was so cute and we felt very at home. We loved the New Orleans charm. The room had anything you might've needed or forgotten and that was very appreciated! It was so easy to walk to Frenchmen street and then down into the French Quarter, and some good restaurants / coffee options nearby. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks again Dee! Sweet spot of NoLA

Our stay was great from the start. Meet Dee and she was the sweetest host. Our room was perfect had everything we needed. Even raincoat and umbrellas. Stores and fabulous restaurants and coffee shops so close. This was easily my favorite stay in NOLA.

This is a gem! The hostess is absolutely the best and the property was ideal for a week with my daughter for her 21st! It’s a perfect location close to Frenchmen but quite enough we could sleep. There’s a coffee shop next door and you can easily get around some lovely parts of the city! We will be back here, this is my go to!

NOLA’s best kept secret!

Ms Dee is a phenomenal host. She’s thought of everything! The room was comfortable and so charming. It’s an easy walk to all the excitement in the French Quarter, along the River front, or the laid back Frenchman Street. We will be planning a return trip, if only just to catch up with Ms Dee!!

great stay

we were here on our honeymoon. it was perfect. The little place was out of the french quarter in a quiet space. It is very cute and just enough for us. Dee was great and relaxed. Helped with great advice and anything we needed. She let us leave our bags in room as we had a late flight. NOLA was much fun for us.

Fabulous host/location

Stayed here in Marigny for first w/e of Jazz Fest. Location was fabulous. Short easy walk to French Quarter and just a couple blocks from Frenchmen Street. Place was clean and felt very safe. Our host, Dee, could not have been more accomodating. Met us on arrival and explained everything. Helped with suggestions for dining and even arranged our return cab trip to airport. Lovely host!!

Cozy hideaway in the Marigny

Dee is a wonderful and welcoming host. Her space is clean and comfortable. If you're looking for a place that's close to the quarter, yet far enough away to feel like you're living with the locals, then this is the spot for you. There are a couple of coffee shops on the streets for a nice latte while you're planning your day. Walking distance to restaurants and food shopping if you need to. Highly recommend.

Just What I Was Looking For

Ms. Dee is the perfect hostess and her home is the perfect location for what I desired. Someplace small in the Marigny, preferably with an on-site owner, in a location that I felt safe, as a woman travelling alone. The proximity to both Royal and Dauphine streets made it a straight shot to the French Quarter without dealing with Bourbon street congestion. (Get the blue bike app and rent one when you can for even cooler, easier sightseeing.) I flew in but parking would have been possible on the street if I needed to. Nice neighbors, secure door lock on private entrance, an owner who thinks of all the little things that one might need in their room. Very satisfied with the quality of my stay.

Wonderful Stay

We had the best experience. Walking distance to the French Quarter and all it has to offer. The other end of FQ is a good walk but doable, epically when you’re taking in all the sights and jazz! Would definitely stay again!

Dee was an awesome host! She was accomodating and went above and beyond to make our quick visit stress-free. Not only was the location easy access for walking distance to main attractions, but quiet in the evening for a good night's rest. Two items that need attention for a 5-star rating would be the need for a higher pressure shower head (I have thick coarse hair, so the shampoo and conditioner were difficult to remove under the current shower flow) and oiling of the door hinges (to reduce the loud, squeaking noises when opening and closing doors).
