Very nice. We had small kitchen and balcony. Pool area was pretty, and quiet. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Thanks for a great time.

This hotel is probably in the “good” category for neighborhood hotels in NOLA. It has some beautiful features and some “really should be better” features. In the latter category I would include plumbing. I am somewhat disabled and getting into a ridiculously designed bathtub was a suicidal act. We changed rooms only to find one of the bathroom faucet handles in my hand. Very simple and cheap improvements could be made: more light, shelves and rods in the bathrooms, non-slip mats on “the River Styx”, otherwise known as the pool room but about as dangerous as that river. Bottom line, it is not a good hotel for disabled people. There are way too many hazards from front door to room. Staff is lovely, if not always available.

Caleb was wonderful. He accommodated me in every way possible from early to late check in/out without charging a fee. Just wish the rooms were somewhat up to date like the lightening and the plug in sockets. Bathroom was fine. Shower door could use some tlc though. Other than that I’d stay again.

Beautiful property, great location and very helpful staff. Would have been nice to have a dresser in the room or something with drawers to store our clothes. There’s plenty of space in the room and a dresser would be easy to accomodate. Also, occupants should be warned to only swing the shower door to the outside of the shower since it’s very easy for the shower door to hit the shower head if you open it in. There’s the potential for a serious accident.
