Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Large Decks & Blackstone Griddle
Welcome to Blue Ash Cabin – a spacious, three-level retreat tucked into the woods, offering comfort, privacy, and a well-appointed setting just minutes from Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest.
With two full bathrooms and multiple sleeping areas, the cabin is ideal for families or small groups. The main level includes two private queen bedrooms; the open loft features a king bed and a twin daybed; and the lower level includes an additional enclosed queen bedroom.
The main living area features vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and an open layout that flows into a large, fully equipped kitchen—perfect for gathering and entertaining.
The finished lower level provides a second living space along with a small game area featuring foosball and darts, offering a great spot to relax or unwind in the evenings.
Step outside to enjoy the 6-person hot tub on the elevated deck overlooking the wooded hillside. The outdoor space also includes a Blackstone griddle and a fire ring—ideal for cooking out or winding down after a day of exploring. The spacious decks are a great place to enjoy morning coffee or a quiet evening.
Need-to-Know Info:
The cabin is located on a gravel road that is slightly steep, bumpy, and winding but manageable for most vehicles. Lowered vehicles may bottom out. During winter weather, AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended. Snow removal is professionally handled as needed. Starlink WiFi is available throughout the cabin. Cell service is best with AT&T and T-Mobile. Verizon is more limited and can make calls difficult, though texting and WiFi calling typically work. The cabin uses well water. It is safe to drink, but guests who are sensitive to taste may prefer bottled water.
Less than 5 minutes from Wayne National Forest and about 20 minutes from Old Man’s Cave and the Hocking Hills trail system, Blue Ash Cabin offers a great balance of convenience and a quiet wooded setting.

The cabin was wonderful. Lee was very friendly and let us check-in early when we arrived sooner than we thought we would. We definitely want to stay here again!
My family and I had a wonderful time here! It was well stocked and clean. There is another cabin nearby but it was far enough that we did not hear them or be bothered. I was expecting to come across a lot more bugs (because it's a cabin in the woods lol) and they were not an issue at all so whatever they do here works VERY well!
Everything about this cabin was perfect! It was exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was amazing! It's not too far from the hiking trails or to go into Logan for shopping and a bite to eat. The kitchen and living room area are open concept which we loved. There's an extra living area downstairs which we didn't use much but would be a great hang out if traveling with kids. Overall everything met our expectations and then some. We'll definitely be back!
We needed a weekend getaway after the holidays to decompress and this was the perfect cabin for us. We had all the amenities we needed to stay in. Enjoyed the quietness and beautiful fireplace.
We were looking for a pet friendly place to relax and hangout with family and this was perfect. The owner did a great job communicating and gave us directions that were spot on as well as suggestions that made our trip even better. The cabin is clean and fully stocked. We enjoyed our stay!
The cabin was perfect for our family. The cabin is in quiet area within the forest. It’s was close to the all the trails, City of Logan and Hocking Hills State Park. Hot tub was very nice.
We had an amazing time celebrating my birthday (21st) and another friend in our party’s as well (22)! the location was great distance from the falls as well as being a quiet location!
Our family had a GREAT time visiting the Hocking shills region and enjoying our stay at this beautiful cabin. My wife commented several times on how clean it was. Lee was prompt to answer any questions and helped make the check in process smooth. He even came by during the week to check on us and see if we needed anything. My whole family rates this place very highly and we’d love to come back again. It was just the right distance from all that Hocking Hills has to offer and the perfect home base.
Overall a great time, enjoyed the hot tub and just relaxing in nature. Was a small mistake with the code to get in but when we called the property owner they took care of it right away.
We have a wonderful and relaxing time at the cabin which was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the provided foosball, board games and of course the jacuzzi!
The outdoor space is great too. A campfire and some giant jenga really filled our trip with activities.
Can't wait to come back again soon!
We had a great time exploring the Hocking Hills area. Thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the cabin each day. It was great having coffee in the morning on the back deck and listening to the birds. Loved cooking on the Blackstone for dinners. Our family loved and had a great time. We would definitely recommend and will come back!
It is a very cozy cottage. Plently of room for everyone. Very well furnished. An amazing cottage near many area attractions.
My only suggestion would be more seating in the livingroom for everyone to be together. Overall it was the best weekend! And the best hosts.
Location is great and cabin is really comfortable. Beds comfy, bathrooms great. There is not a dishwasher. But we used mostly paper plates. Firepit is in great location, hottub wonderful after hiking
