"Room was clean and good beds, ok place to stay, our toilet was broken but promptly fixed upon our arrival and our air conditioner leaked water on the floor. They came to fix it but it leaked again in the night. The staff was very quick and nice to come help fix the problems "

"This was a gorgeous property and beyond my expectations. The house was amazing with spacious, clean bedrooms and a beautiful master bath. The view was breathtaking. I could have just sat in the family room and gazed at that for half the day if there weren't fun things to do in the area. We had a great time as a family in the hot tub in the evening and spent a good part of the mornings wandering around the beach hunting for sea glass. It was just an amazing weekend at a spectacular property and I really hope to go back one day. The icing on the cake was the communication with the host. Karen was super helpful and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The instructions for coming and going were very clear."

"Great little place! Very peaceful and quite, a little off the beaten path. Full on cottage feel, that has all the basics, including very good internet. Very easy to contact the host, who was quick to respond to any query. Not super fancy, but that is reflected in the price. The tap water is safe to drink, however we chose to bring bottled water for coffee and drinking. From the house, it is a 20 minute drive to New River Beach, an amazing huge beach that is surprisingly quiet. Also just a couple minutes from the (free) Deer Island ferry. If you plan on booking a whale watching trip, Full Tide Ocean Safaris on Deer Island is the place to go (which we discovered along with a recommendation note in the package of tourist materials that was provided by the host). My wife and I spent 3 nights here and we are already trying to figure the logistics if we can bring our 2 teens and stay longer next year."

"Room is simple and could use some maintenance but it is clean and fresh air was blowing through prior to arrival which was nice. Room has a small fridge. View from the porch off the room is far and away the best feature. Staff is kind."

"We spent one night here and had to head out early to catch the ferry to Digby. That said, the check in was very friendly and helpful, and check out involved dropping your key in a mailbox. Sadly we missed the continental breakfast because we had to catch the first boat. The room was perfectly comfortable with good water pressure and solid amenities. Bed was comfortable, air conditioner worked and there was a mini fridge. If you're taking the ferry this place is a five minute drive to the embarkation point. Nothing fancy but exactly what we needed. Staff is very nice and personable."

"It was great . The staff was very helpful. We did have an incident of someone trying to get into our room. It was a misunderstanding of the rooms. It was hard to get back to sleep after that. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. They called us that my son had forgotten a bag in the room. We will recommend this place and we would return."
