Great weekend stay! We noticed the fire pit was burnt out but it also looked like they were replacing them this weekend. The bed was mostly comfy and the hot tub was great! The drive in was a little confusing with the junk yard and a few more blankets and pillows could be nice but either way we had a great weekend.
This is a perfect place for a small weekend getaway. The hot tub was fantastic and the fireplace really made the night toasty. Perfect for a couple looking for a small cabin in a wooded area.
Hot tub was great, cabin was perfect for getting away and very clean. Manager didn’t respond to VRBO messages or send check in information prior to us reaching out but was very quick to respond and helpful once texting the associated phone number.
The cabin was clean and exactly as described. Communication with the host was good- texts and emails. It is important to note that this cabin is very close to the neighboring cabins (especially the one on the left) and like other reviews mentioned, the shower wasn’t great. We figured out that the temperature display was inverted (“cold” was actually hot and vice versa), which was fine once realized but it took a long time to warm up and the water pressure was low. Otherwise, it was just as described!
Me and my husband needed a 1 day get away from our busy lives and this place didn't disappoint. The place was cozy, clean and everything was perfect! Would definitely book again!
My husband and I booked this cabin to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and I loved it. The cabin was cute and spacious enough for the two of us and our dog. It got chilly overnight but the heater warmed it up extremely quickly. The hot tub was very enjoyable and private. I had read reviews prior to our trip about the shower water not getting hot - the hot and cold are backwards so you just have to have the knob on "cold" and it gets plenty hot! The mattress was also extremely comfortable and I slept like a rock. We only had the cabin booked for a few days but I wish we were able to stay longer. We really enjoyed our time!
This was a cute fun little place to stay that wasn't to far from other attractions. It was perfect for our weekend getaway. Just what we needed to relax for a few days. I would defiantly stay here again.
My husband and I stayed for a few days while hiking in Hocking Hills. We loved the cabin, felt very private, and sitting in the hot tub after a long day of hiking was amazing. Cabin was very clean and well kept, and the owner was very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely stay again
Internet did not work and Tv was not working in bedroom. Overall was a nice place minus not having a working tv and no internet. Nice location and was clean.
The cabin was warm and cozy. It was secluded, but it also had many opportunities around it for food, coffee, hiking, etc. The contact info for the host was readily accessible. Great all around!
The space was cozy and clean. The setting was pretty. There were minor challenges with communication (no response via VRBO, I had to look up the property info for a response) and the shower temps were a challenge.
Overall it was a great experience with no inconveniences whatsoever. Fast communication between property manager and myself. Definitely will be booking sometime again soon!! If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from life then this is definitely for you!!
We enjoyed the cabin and the forested location. It was clean, cool, and spacious. The only issue we had was trying to check in - we did not receive the door code until the day of arrival after reaching out several times before then. Overall, we loved the cabin. Thanks
I loved that I could take my dogs with me for hiking.
I loved the hot tub. Not as much privacy as im used to when staying at cabins. They were close to each other. The hot water in the shower was hard to find. But it was very peaceful there. I wouldve loved loved if it had a full size couch though in there!

We loved this cabin. There are a lot of great things, but there are a couple of things that you should know to make the right choice for you.
This is a quaint, but beautiful cabin. It's clean & modern, but simple. Simple, but provides everything that you need for a peaceful, nature getaway.
While out in the middle of nowhere, it is not secluded. There are other cabins right nextdoor. There are blinds on the deck so that you have some privacy though. We plan on bringing back our children and grandchildren, and having each family have their own cabin. We can sit around the campfire and enjoy each other's company.
The only issues we had are:
There is little water pressure in the shower or the sinks. With the type of faucets that they have it is really hard to get the hot water on. There is hot water but it's where you would think the cold is on the dial, and it's hard to get to a good temperature. It appears like there is no hot water, but there is, you have to work to find it. We also did not get check in information & no response to my email requests, so I had to call to get our door code before leaving.
The TV remotes work, but it's hard to find the angle & spot to point to work. Watch the metal bed frames. We repeatedly kicked them/hit our knees on it when covered by bedding.I am just sharing our experience. We truly enjoyed ourselves and would love to return. If these things sound like what you're looking for, stay here!
