"We had a great stay overall. The location was excellent-close to everything we needed, including easy access to the subway, which made getting around very convenient. The ambience of the hotel was nice as well-nothing too fancy or over the top, but comfortable and perfectly alright for a stay. There were just a couple of minor issues. The room we stayed in on the 9th floor had slightly damaged blinds. It didn't impact our stay too much, but it's something that could be improved. Additionally, the internet connection was quite slow, so a stronger and more reliable Wi-Fi service would definitely make a big difference. I understand that prices can be higher in New York, but I was a bit surprised by the $200 deposit required at check-in. It wasn't a major problem, but it would have been nice to know in advance. Aside from these small points, everything else was very good, and the front desk staffs were super nice!! and we enjoyed our stay."

"Stayed in accessible king bed suite (unexpected upgrade from standard king room). Great space if needed for any with mobility issues (e.g., walker, wheelchair). Sitting room, bedroom, and large, open bathroom. Comfortable bed. All clean and well maintained. Complimentary umbrella & bathrobes for use during stay. "

"The location of the hotel is excellent, with it being just a block from Times Square. The staff were polite and efficient, and the Internet worked well. I booked three rooms for 2 nights and asked to check in to one a couple hours early...which I was able to do, but for a $25 fee. The room overall was clean, with a few exceptions like doors. It is an old building, and the radiator heat was quite loud at times. The windows leaked cold air, so the room was usually a little cold. In my room the water was hot - in one of the others the shower only got lukewarm. The sink had a slow drain. If you like vintage buildings in a great location, I would recommend it."

"I think hotels need to upgrade there photos online because majority New York hotels are outdated when you physically go to them… with outrageous room rates. I heard the person in the next room take a shower every night because the appliances was old and rusty. "
