Hotel is in a good, safe area. It’s close to the subway and all shopping areas. Area is clean. We stayed from Friday to Monday and our room was never cleaned, trash was never emptied, or towels replaced. Nevertheless everyone at the front desk was kind and friendly.

The only problem we had was the AC/heating unit conked out and made crazy jack hammer noise after we were asleep. Staff was terrific!

Although parking is technically available at this hotel, in fact, the numbers of parking spaces available to lodgers is very limited. Street parking is also quite limited in this area so wouldn’t drive personal vehicle to this hotel.

This is my new go-to Brooklyn hotel spot. The location is perfect, staff are accommodating and friendly and the rooms are well equipped with a proper kitchenette and the best hotel shower I’ve had in years!

They advertised a pool and hot tub and that was the main reason I booked the room only to find out when we got there for check-in they did not have a pool and hot tub. False advertising. And when they claim pet friendly they should post the fees for the pets.

Great place to stay in Brooklyn
Great location and customer service. We were here for a family visit and our mother was us who is handicapped and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Rooms were clean, breakfast was great and highly recommended.

We had a beautiful time there. The room was great, staff was very friendly. The only thing was breakfast. We don't eat pork and the meat was pork so we didn't eat anything but the bagels

Welcomed to the property by Chelsea. She is the type of employee that you want representing your hotel. Friendly, helpful and informative, she provided a positive first impression. The room was clean and up to date, spacious and the bed was super comfy. Parking was available (which is always a plus). We had a complimentary breakfast in the morning. The hostess (I know her name started with an “S” and she said she usually works in housekeeping) was such a great “people person, that I think management should consider making this her regular gig! I would definitely recommend staying here.

The room was clean, but with a slight odor. We were there for four nights and never had our room cleaned. We didn't get clean towels unless we asked for them, which is apparently the way this hotel does things.

Beware when booking -- even if you buy insurance, the hotel has a no refunds within 24 hours policy so you might be out of luck. A coworker was exposed to Covid so our trip was cancelled within 24 hours. Hotel would not allow cancellation. Perhaps you should consider somewhere with a more graceful policy.

New bicycle policy
I have stayed at this hotel around 30 nights over the last year or two, and staff have always been a pleasure to deal with and I’ve always been able to bring my bicycle into the room with me. However, while checking in last night I was told that bringing bicycles into the rooms is no longer allowed. As a result I will not be staying at this hotel again unless this policy has been changed and I can continue to bring my bicycle in the room with me.

Everything was perfect with the hotel itself. I see that the area immediately to the left of the hotel is being renovated, and the whole area is “up and coming.” It’s so close to 5th Ave, Brooklyn, that it is definitely worth the stay. Free hot buffet breakfast every morning! Dog friendly! And I loved having a kitchen area with full-size frig, microwave, dishwasher, etc (even in my studio room!) I would definitely recommend this hotel!
