"Hotel was nice and clean. Vallet was excellent, staff was friendly. The block the hotel was on felt very safe, but 3 blocks away there were a lot of homeless people camped on sidewalks and felt not very safe at night."

"My husband and I stayed at the Paramount Hotel on July 10 and 11, and from check-in to check-out, everything was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was clean and welcoming, the staff was friendly, and valet service was quick and convenient. We enjoyed drinks and appetizers at Swine both nights—everything we tried was delicious, and the service was excellent. Each morning, we had breakfast at Taylor Street Tavern, and once again, the food was fantastic. We highly recommend the Paramount Hotel and will definitely be staying there again!"

"Check-in was so easy and quick, even when it was a busy day for the hotel with an event going on. The hotel is slightly older than some places I've stayed, but it was clean. Our room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. For our purposes, the location couldn't be beat. I do wish the room had a mini refrigerator and microwave. Those were the only things I was disappointed about."

"The staff was absolutely amazing. Their friendliness and readiness to help was very evident. Breakfast was delicious. Parking was not easy but it was manageable. Only real complaint I have is that the sofa beds are a nightmare. You could feel every spring in the mattress. There is also a urine-like smell in the elevator landing as you enter the fifth floor. It may be time to renovate the property. But like I said, the staff really made the trip memorable. "
