"Hotel is in a great location, parking was easy and excellent value. We had a really great stay when going to a play at RSC. Hotel is undergoing some work but that didn’t impact on us at all and good to see the investment being made. Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at this hotel again."

"Overall excellence marred only by lack of clarity with breakfast arrangements, Menu on table suggested I could order a vegsn cooked breakfast. But I realised it was self service and limited range, Staff very nice but breakfast not great value for money, Similar standard to Premier Inn Otherwise excellent experience"

"The rooms are excellent, clean, quiet and picturesque. The staff in general were also excellent. Must have been the busiest time of the year but the bar and restaurant staff are not very good. Takes ages to get served in the bar and then there is no where to sit as everything was reserved. When I tried to reserve the next day, I was spent a yarn about 17:30 to 18:30 etc.... etc.. The breakfast quality is poor but the quantity is fine. The bacon was like leather, the sausage a bit tough and scrambled egg runny."

"The hotel is very good and should be excellent. Unfortunately, it is let down in one area, the restaurant. We had issues at breakfast on both mornings as did others seated around us. I would describe the breakfast as “chaos”. It is a shame because aside from that the hotel is very good. The check in staff were excellent and the spa is more than adequate."
