A home away from home. This well-equipped, 4-5 bedroom house boasts a panoramic lake view and large landscaped front and back gardens. Located in peaceful countryside, with traditional villages and pubs only a few miles away, this is a perfect base for touring the Shannon, Limerick and Galway regions - with historic sites, the unique Burren landscape, the cliffs of Moher and ferries to the Aran Islands only 30-40 mins drive away. In easy access are excellent golf courses, great fishing, horse riding and great surfing beaches. Family vacation in Ireland

The house is in a perfect location to see the majority of sites on the western side of Ireland. It’s quiet, with plenty of privacy, nestled next to a lake filled with wildlife. Will definitely stay at the house again if I come back to visit Ireland.

This house and property was beautiful and so was the scenery around it. The house was stocked with all of the basic needs except for specific food items such as bread, milk and other perishables. We had 5 adults staying here and we had plenty of room to spread out. Gill was very helpful when we got lost and needed assistance to find the house!! April 2025 Stay

This is a very nice property, and we four octogenarians were very well pleased. Gill is an excellent host and had all the necessary information of how to operate items in the house as well as information of places of interest to visit and eat. The area is delightful and we especially enjoyed the Dromoland Castle. The location makes it very easy to see Ireland.

Large home in quiet countryside

The house had everything we could need and more. It was very spacious and had plenty of room for our cousins who live nearby to visit as well. It was a great central point for the west of Ireland to do day trips from as well. Grateful to have stayed here and the host was very quick to respond

The home is great for a large family or small family reunion. The kitchen has everything you need. Located on a quite, country road. The yard is spacious and has nice views of the lake. Great for day trips to many sites and only 15-20 to SNN.

Fabulous 2 week stay

Cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The house and surroundings are so relaxing and beautiful. There was plenty of room for 9 of us. I loved waking up to the sound of the cows in the pasture behind us and the birds on the lake. Only 15 minutes from the Shannon airport. Just a short drive to Newmarket on Furgus where there were several pubs, places to eat, and a grocery store. You definitely need a car because nothing is really within walking distance. But it was the perfect base for our trips every day. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Gillian for everything!!
