The house was amazing! We loved the location, view, how clean and very welcoming the place is. It's a historic house that you can sit back and imagine when it was the only house around and what it was like back then. We really enjoyed this home - oceanfront, easily walkable to Nye Beach shopping and down to the beach. A quick drive to the additional bayfront restaurants. The home is older/historic but very comfortable.

The house is charming with breathtaking views only steps from the beach and the shops and restaurants in Nye Beach. When we had an issue, the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We had a very nice stay!

Great House on NYE Beach

Very nice well-stocked house right in the heart of the NYE beach neighborhood. The beach, restaurants, and stores are all within walking distance. Loved drinking coffee and sitting in the rocking chairs while looking at the ocean.

The house is amazing! If you're looking for an "original beach house", then this one is for you! Everything is in easy walking distance, the historic district is super fun. My only regret....I wanted to stay a few more days. Work said"NO". Bummer. Highly recommend it.

Home was very comfortable and had all the items necessary for an enjoyable time. Fantastic view of the ocean from the outside deck and from large windows inside with big comfy chairs facing the water. Within blocks of the beach and numerous interesting shops and restaurants. Comfortable historic home with great location!

We loved this house! It has the charm of an older home and is perfectly maintained. The beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed. The decor was perfect for a beach house, with lots of shells. The view of the ocean from the living room and deck were great, and access to Nye beach was easy. We also appreciated the cleaning supplies and extra spices in the pantry. We had everything we needed!

Great view great location

As soon as we walked in the home, we were all shocked by the fantastic view of the Pacific ocean, and the beach right in front of us. The location was right in the middle of restaurants shops all within walking distance of us. We parked the car and never had to drive all the time we were there.

We loved the 1906 home with many ocean inspired decorations! The bedding and towels were clean without perfumed detergents and the kitchen well stocked with cooking gadgets.No spices or coffee filters, we left our filters for others.Awesome location, ease of check- in.Windows and mirrors could use a deep clean with a steam vacuum, as well as bathroom cedar.

This was our second week long stay at the American Classic. We had a great time. This place is wonderful. It is meticulously decorated, has modern appliances, and is perfect for relaxing while watching whales or sleeping (13 hours a night for me). Many pet friendly restaurants are nearby. Everyone in the area is friendly and the hosts respond immediately to any questions that you have. We plan to be back again next year.

Cute cozy home in a FANTASTIC location!

This home felt like I was staying at a friends house. It was in a superb location and an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. It had a beautiful ocean view. The rooms were quite small but we spent all of our time in the open concept living/dinning/kitchen area. It was the perfect place for us to gather for an early family Christmas celebration. Definitely a great place for a reasonable price!

Nice roomy old house

We loved the view from the deck and through the enormous beach facing windows. I nice big dining table with room for everyone. A well appointed kitchen Being an older house built before current code requirements, the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are steeper than normal but carpeted so the footing is secure. We enjoyed our stay here.
