lovely place.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean and comfortable and heating easily controlled which was great. Food good both at breakfast and dinner with Christmas dinner excellent.

Usual noise, 2am onwards until around 2:30am noisy people talking loud in the corridors and slamming doors. Stain on sheets, soft mattress.

Key problem
The only negative comment I have is that the room key and the room number had not been aligned so that another booking was able to use their key to open the door while I was in the room. Reception sorted it out but when the separate bookings were corrected, I couldn't use the key. Again, Reception sorted it out very quickly.

Great staff
Nice hotel with really friendly, helpful staff. Food was good. Only issue was the live entertainment on the Saturday night. I can only describe him as Dire Straits without the Straits…😂 I would recommend the Mourne Country Hotel if you’re looking to stay in or near Newry.

Clean cosy and comfortable
Great stay stayed in room 112 clean and cosy apart from the radiator on the wall wasn’t working. I tried both power buttons there was no power at all

Are room was at the front which is near a busy roundabout. If you need quiet to sleep i would book a room at the back of the hotel but other than that it was excellant!! Food, service, staff were all wonderful and very helpful and friendly!!

Different to all the times iv stayed before
I stay here at this hotel quite a lot. And allways have the best experience but unfortunately this time not so good as the tv wouldn’t work. So sat in silence all night and morning. And the water wouldn’t get hot for a shower.
