Our room was spotless,lovely and warm and quiet! The breakfasts( we stayed2 days) Were of a very high standard, and staff lovely! We atevin the bar on the fri night and food great value and beautiful! Would lovevto see the place busier as it really is Wee jewel.

Really peaceful place to stay, there was everything we needed in the cottage, i had to ring the host as tv wasnt working for us and the host arrived in about 10 mins to sort out. Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. I enjoyed an inexpensive light lunch of Latvian Chicken Soup, Fresh Salad Sandwich and Pot of Tea in the "Romantic Restaurant" very near Newry Bus Station. I found the Newry people very friendly and more than helpful when I asked directions, etc.
