Lovely cottage.
Lovely cottage. Totally spotless, very comfortable and well-equipped. Good outdoor seating area if you're lucky enough to have sunny weather! Easy parking. Located in a side street just off the main square of Wigtown, just 2 or 3 minutes' walk from a well-stocked Co-op. Great base for exploring Wigtownshire and the wider region of Dumfries and Galloway. Wigtown itself is lovely to stroll round, with it's many bookshops and a couple of nice cafes. Where it does fall down is an absence of restaurants for an evening meal, so be prepared to drive, or to make use of the nearby fish & chip shop or (as we did) cook your own meal!
