The grounds were quite overgrown and unkempt, and the rooms while tidy, had poor finishing particularly with respect painting, where there was paint all over everything. "The property was in a good location to get to Stone Town and the ferry. Booking thru Expedia led to some confusion at checkout as their Expedia payment system was initially declined so we had to go on Expedia chat followed by a phone call to the facility to straighten everything out. Expedia could make that process much less confusing.
The included breakfast was a nice treat and while I mostly take the stairs, the elevator was not working for half our stay. Overall though the stay was lovely...

"There were 2 issues with this place. The first was their amenities were old. Their TV did not work the entire time we were there. On our last day, a technician showed up trying to fix the TV to no avail.
The other issue is that they had no shuttle to the airport as advertised. That was a total lie. Other than those 2 issue, it was an OKAY place."
