Great position on Cagnes sur mer promenade, close to restaurants although my room was in a separate rear building (with side balcony with sea views) Parking at hotel pricey, breakfast quite basic and commonways need refurb, but room and shower room good value. Staff excellent

The room was so small. We reserved a queen bed but they gave us two single beds and when we requested to change our room, they did not accept. Toilet was separate from the bathroom. One night the AC was not working and it was so hot. The receptionists were very polite and helpful.

Le service fait la différence.
Si l’hôtel est très beau, c’est le personnel qui fait vraiment la difference. Très belles personnes à la réception toujours prêt à vous aider.

Not a four star hotel
It smelled in the lobby like rotten fish. The place is very old and is NOT a four star hotel by any means. This would have gotten 3.5 stars as a 3- star hotel. Not worth the price.

This property is right across from the beach, it's quieter than central Nice, but it's only a couple miles away. After visiting Nice Ville, I'm extra glad we chose this apot. Nice view, lots of places to eat nearby, easy to get to every place you want to go. Clean rooms, lovely breakfast. Most of the staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this location.

I discovered this hotel a few years back as I have a business in Cagnes sur Mer and return 4 times a year. You need to know that I do not give compliments easily. Amazing service from the front desk, the maids and the restaurant manager.

The breakfast selection could be wider. One evening there was no hot water so the shower was not comfortable. But otherwise a good enough place to spend the nights.

We stayed in a Superior Room with ocean view and balcony. It did not disappoint! The view was amazing. Slightly « tired » decor / fixings but it was well cleaned. Small room but it had what you needed! Amazing location; across from the beach (pebbles but it is so clean and very quiet!!) Very friendly staff greeted us. I would recommend & stay again!

Hotel is on the beach, nice quiet location. Rooms can be a bit updated ( bathrooms especially). Staff not showing much enthusiasm and welcoming ( example: when asked if the live music will be playing again tonight, answer was PERHAPS, I don’t know…”). Looks like hotel is under staffed and bit of charm is missing… All in all not bad.

The hotel is advertised as being in nice . It is outside of the city in subpar town. The cart to move luggage broken . Rooms are super small with not enough outlets . Some staff was rude others not . Rooms outdated . No parking either. Paid for a spot with a lock and someone else took it even though it had a key . Took us 2 hours to park

The Hotel Royalmar is perfectly positioned for quiet beach holiday in proximity to Nice, but without the big city hassle. Cagnes sur Mer is a perfect option for access to the sea, promenade walking and some excellent local restaurants. The hotel is generally well maintained, but showing some signs of needing improvement in the rooms. The furniture (sofa) was care-worn and not very comfortable and all the furniture was too dark. We had a problem one morning with the lack of hot water and were told that we could either change rooms to a smaller room (we were in the only available suite) or wait 3 or 4 hours for the water to be made available......we waited. However, the staff were very profesional and concerned about this situation. Overall the staff were excellent and the restaurant staff were very nice and welcoming. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced........eggs & bacon at breakfast is very unusual in France.....but also very welcome!

Personne a l’accueil très désagréable je suis venue le samedi 20 avril à 15h son regard disait mais pourquoi tu es entrée (je suis voilée) chambre très très très sale pour se déplacer on doit raser les murs salle de bain joints avec de la moisissure tous était en mauvais état terrasse très sale mauvais accueil aussi quand je suis partie le dimanche 21 9h voilà vraiment toutes les photos mensongères

Personale all'accoglienza la sera poco ospitale. meglio la mattina. stanza vista mare, ma anche sulla strada e quindi rumoroso. stanza piccolissima. Molto difficile da muoversi. bagno separato dal corridoio, in due parti.

Disappointed with the experience overall: hotel was dirty, poor hygiene at breakfast area (food was left uncovered with flies sitting on the food, room service barely cleaned our room, which was quite dirty after a few days, etc.), no refills of soap or toilet paper when needed (we had to ask front desk teice). Hotel claims that cleaning is done every day and that rooms are sound proof, and we can testify that neither claims are true. Finally, upon check out, and although we were traveling with one young child, the front desk staff refused to keep our suitcase for three hours. I will not return to that hotel, and if you can avoid it, I strongly suggest you do.

client régulier de cet hôtel , j'ai pour la 1ère fois été envoyé dans le bâtiment arriere de l'hôtel pour une chambre au 4ème étage sans ascenseur avec une valise et les chemises vraiment pas top ! une Sdb avec des longs cheveux dans le lavabo Bof sale ! Une douche qui fuit et un jet d'eau insuffisant qui oblige à prendre une douche de 20 minutes pour se rincer, un gel douche totalement vide ! un toilette avec une lunette qui revient vers vous une fois assis . vraiment une mauvaise expérience cette fois ci . dommage car les 3 autres fois étaient vraiment Top . c'est simple si ils me remettent dans ce batîment j'annulerai les nuits tout simplement .

Hôtel pas au niveau
Hotel bien situé mais relativement dégradé pour un 4 Etoiles. Nous avons été surclassé dans une suite petit immeuble à coté de l'Hotel ,vue sur une ruelle sale , devant des poubelles , jardin mal entretenu , porte d'accès du jardin toujours ouverte .... Télé de la chambre n'a jamais pu marcher durant notre séjour . Rideaux sales , poubelles mal nettoyées , capsule de lait vide mélangée avec les pleines ....Salle du petit déjeuner mal rangée , table et chaises du restaurant empilées dans un coin . Matériel de nettoyage laissé sur une table non vidée après le départ des clienrs .... Jardin devant l'entrée de l'Hotel mal entretenu . Une gamelle de chien en inox est restée deux jours durant au pied de la même table !!!!
