We felt so lucky to stay in this historic house in Tourettes-sur-Loup. While one can enjoy being (almost) in a museum (tourists were stopping and photographing the house), the house is fully modernized and equipped and easily fitted our group - three generations.Enjoy the history, the surroundings, and the breathtaking view.
You can watch the beautiful sun rises over the sea from your bed rooms or from the wonderful terrace.
The place was clean, centrally located (with plenty of good restaurants) around) and spacious.
Highly recommended.
This is an incredible place. Beautiful location and such history to the home and town. It is away from lots of tourists which is appealing. Opening the windows to the view and breeze is very refreshing and peaceful. Thank you for such a great experience.
One of the highlights of our trip! We loved the village. Really quaint feel to it. Lots of hikes and walks in the area which we took advantage of.
The kitchen was well equipped and the view from the balcony is spectacular. We loved exploring the village.
Breathtaking medieval village with lovely home overlooking the local hills & valleys. Easy multi-day parking at free public lot at edge of village. Easy walk. Home has very modern well equipped kitchen and updates throughout. Great local restaurants abound in village along with interesting wine boutiques. Leah’s was great source for local regional Bellet wines.
The home was in a beautiful location. There was a lot of room for everyone. Very peaceful, stunning views! Communication was great. I would highly recommend this place. Very unique!
The town is magically as you approach the house. The house is amazing. The view is breathtaking. You are taken back in time but with modern conveniences. The beds are very comfortable. The house is very spacious. We absolutely loved it.
Spectacular location with your very own personal sunrise.
A deceptively large property which manages to be both in the heart of, and on the edge of, the village at the same time. It has all the amenities you would expect so that you can comfortably enjoy your stay.
Communication with Isy was excellent.
This is your chance to stay in a French Hill Top Village. The views at sunrise are indescribable, so you'll have to come and see them for yourself.
This is truly a magical spot. Right in the center of this beautiful medieval village with stunning views of a Roman Aqueduct. Every corner of this property is filled with history and taste. The village has some amazing artisans and several restaurants including 2 Michelin rates ones. We have stayed at dozens of rental properties all over the world and this one is on the top of our list.
We're a family of 5 who stayed for 3 nights in March. This place exceeded our expectations and was a highlight of our 2-week trip to France!
Communication was clear, quick, and friendly. The place was well appointed, extremely spacious, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. We loved the beauty and the richness of the history of the house. The village was lovely, pedestrian friendly with a good boulangerie and a selection of restaurants.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!
Tourettes sur Loup is pleasantly distanced from the business of the Riviera but with a beautiful view that towers over it all. The streets of the village are impossibly cute and fun to explore. There are shops for any last minute needs though we mostly did our groceries “down the mountain”. There is lots of room and Isy and Les were very responsive to questions and concerns.
Lovely property but it doea not have any air conditioning so was unbearably hot. The property was very quirky in a great location but we were charged 15 euros each for linens and towels which were very poor.
Its difficult to capture how magical the experience was at this hime. Clean, modern appliances, fully equipped, good beds and linens, easy check in and out, great communication....but most of all- incredibly beautiful. The views, village, each room was like your best hopes for an experience like this. Thank you to our hosts. We hated to leave!
Great house in the small ancient part of Tourrette-sur-Loup with enough space for up to 7 adults. We loved to sit on the roofed terrace with its view over the gorge, the hills and all the way to the sea! Supermarket, restaurants and bakery are all nearby. Nice, Cannes, Grasse can easily be reached by car, the nearby Foundation Maeght is a great place for people interested in art and the hills are great for hiking.
We had a really great time and a wonderful holiday!
We had 2 wunderfull weeks in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in the Linton house. The house is well equiped and cozy.
Tourrettes-sur-Loup is a nice old village which is well situated to reach nearer surroundings as well as the cost within a short space of time. We visited the nice villages nearby, Nice and Menton, used rainy days for museum visits, did some hicking tours in the hills around and made a trip to Gorges de Verdon as well.
Summarizing we can say we had a relaxing and interesting time here in the south of France.
If you want to experience a medieval home in a picturesque village with modern amenities, this is the place! I could tell that this home belonged to a family and it was not just an investment property.
The view was amazing, the home and village is quite charming. The host and house manager were excellent in their communications. As an English speaker, i was concerned about communication but that was not an issue.
I would stay here again and highly recommend this lovely home.
This village house is so beautiful and has so much character. Plenty of room for multiple families. It was well equipped, and the location was great. We took several walks/hikes from the house while we were there. Beautiful village with all amenities (including 2 boulangeries). But, the best part was the breath taking views from the terrace. There is a waterfall not far, and we slept to the sound of the waterfall at night. Beautiful place. Would highly recommend.
Staying there is like stepping back 500 years without the downsides of medieval life. The three story stone house with large exposed beams and the remains of a "walk-in" cooking fireplace adds to the "another place and time" experience. The rooms are spacious with good light, the kitchen well equipped and the beds comfortable. The view is of cliffs and valleys with the sea in the distance and even a waterfall. Although we did not meet the owner, communication by Whatsapp worked fine. The only negative, and it didn't bother us, is that the free parking lot is a less than ten minutes walk away. Only a problem if it's raining. Would love to stay there again.
This property was amazing. There are stunning views from every room and it is located in the heart of the old village. You can walk out your door to find local artisans and amazing restaurants just steps away. There was plenty of space for all of us. The only downside is the accessibility. It was challenging to get strollers, suitcases, etc. to the house because there are no cars in the old village. It was well worth this effort because the peace and quiet that comes with no cars made it so special. I would absolutely come back and I highly recommend. The town is a hidden gem and you will not be disappointed!
