Friendly staff. Dirty must smelling room. Black mold in shower. They could throw some thick bleach down if they cared enough to. Also nothing to see at breakfast.

Absolute worst hotel experience!
The second we walked in, the staff was rude. No greet, no smile, he looked grumpy and had a bad tone, seemed like he didn't want to be there. It was a very uncomfortable experience right from the start until the end. Breakfast looked like egg porridge, watermelon was almost frozen, and the bacon was undercooked. Only thing decent was their coffee machine. The location was far from everything. If you want to go to the airport by public transportation, be prepared to pay $70 Euros for Taxi and $50 for Uber. The bathroom had MOLD on it! and the sink was very slow draining and smelled like manure. They probably have a problem with their pipping. Also, when we arrived most of the lights were off in the hallways. We believe they are trying to save money by lowering their energy costs. We had to turn on our phone flash lights just so we can find our way to our room and find the key hole. We stayed here just for a night as everything was sold out due to a last minute booking. The absolute worst experience in accommodation for us, we could not wait to leave this place! Place felt dirty and made us feel dirty. BEWARE visitors!! I wish I read this review before we booked!

Dear guest, We are very sorry for all these desagreements. Promotel will be all renovated ( rooms , corridors, restaurant, bar ...) We begin renovation from 01/10/2019 until spring 2020. Ok for a quick stay to save money
Rooms were dated but beds clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very basic and poor quality Pool area was nice although the pool was very cold and not cleaned after rain storm. Overall not bad for a quick pit stop at a reasonable price for the area.

Just fine within hotel grounds... occasional insufficient parking... breakfast underwhelming (hot food). Tired decor and smell. Pool great but cold. Gym ok but needs air con and water.

Good value and convenient!
A very nice 'road side' stop. The staff could not have been nicer. The decor somewhat dated but clean and comfortable. Not a quaint area, but certainly convenient to high way, market, fuel stop, etc. We needed to be at Malpensa the next day and wanted to rest up before flying home.

Good hotel after recent refurb.
Not enough room between the toilet and the bidet. Anybody 6ft or taller would have trouble sitting comfortably on the toilet to 'perform'. Resolution ...... remove the bidet!

To all those that write that the location is terrible, I suggest you read and locate your hotels on google maps before booking. Yes it's out of the way, only 1 bus serves it, but for those who drive, the location is really not that bad. It's 15-30 minutes from Nice, 15 minutes from the airport, and 45 minutes to Monaco. Carros village itself is worth the drive, beautiful scenery, and good food. The only hiccup was the checkout. They said their reception was 24 hours, but the receptionist was sleeping behind. They left a number to call but I don't carry a French mobile. Just worth noting if you have an early flight

The hotel itself was very satisfactory. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning really worked - surprising in most European hotels. The hotel staff were very helpful when I needed to get some business documents to the US very quickly (although the girl who helped me made it seem like this was a big effort for her, a very French attitude in my experience, in reality she was very helpful - just overlook the attitude). Breakfast is very expensive so go out somewhere to eat. It is some distance to the lovely old town of Carros. Be sure to make the effort and go there.

Good location for exploring the area
After seeing on Google where this hotel is situated, I was concerned by the proximity of the highway and the location generally, which is rather commercial. Providing you have a car and will be travelling around, do not be put off. There is very little, if any, road/traffic noise. However, there is nothing within walking distance, apart from a cafe and McDonalds. Yet, because of where it is, it is very easy to travel around the area on the very good roads and you can actually be on the Promenade in Nice in about 25 minutes or so. The hotel was very clean and had good facilities, although we did not really use them much, as we were out and about elsewhere. The restuarant menu looked good and was reasonably priced, but we did not eat there. We had breakfast only once on the last day and it was ok, but not brilliant. We found a workmans cafe on the side of the road on the back road near the hotel and that was very good and very cheap. The room was very clean, but we found the beds hard and the cleaner kept forgetting to leave tea, coffee, milk etc, which we had to keep asking for at reception. The only English channel on the TV was BBC World News. There were plenty of parking places in the secure car park. Bearing in mind the other hotels I considered, I think it was very good value for money and in a good location for exploring the region.

Needed a room for three adults for a last minute weekend getaway to French Riviera and Provence. Chose this property based on price and rating. Room was spacious with a terrace and an outstanding mountain and hillside village views. Bathroom had new fixtures with a nice shower. Satellite TV was a plus. Breakfast was rather limited and not worth Euro 11 price. Fitness and sauna were barely adequate and needed new treadmills. On balance, for what was important to our party, it was a fine two day stay.

The gym was much better than in most hotels we have stayed in. Unfortunately, the sauna was unavailable at the time. The hotel surroundings look like industrial neighborhood, which makes it a good reason to have dinner in the hotel restaurant that was fairly good. All in all, good price-quality ratio compared to a lot of the other hotels in the region.

Je choisis cet hôtel depuis plus de deux ans pour mes déplacements professionnels, cependant à cette occasion j'ai demandé une chambre fumeur bien à l'avance et je ne l'ai pas eu, la salle de bain n'était pas propre, la douche sentait l'humidité. Je n'ai pas reçu une facture ni à l'hôtel ni sur la plateforme de : Hotels.com Je suis déçue du service et je pense que pour mes prochains séjours je chercherai d'autres alternatives.

Guter Ausgangspunkt um die Cote d‘Azur zu erkunden
Man sollte wissen, was man vom Aufenthalt erwartet. Das Hotel liegt an einer vielbefahrenen Straßen, und ist trotz schönem Pool kein Resort um den Tag dort zu verbringen. Aber: Es ist prima geeignet um die Côte d’Azur zu erkunden, wenn man mobil ist. Die Straße vor der Tür führt direkt auf die Promenade d‘Anglais in Nizza, Fahrzeit je nach Verkehr 15-20 Minuten. Unser Zimmer war sehr altmodisch und in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr gut Schallisoliert, mit guten Betten und sehr guter Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück war über dem Standard, das Personal aber sehr gestresst. Genügend Parkplätze. Wer also eine vergleichbar günstige Übernachtung sucht und mobil ist, für den könnte das Hotel das richtige sein.
