Villefranche Sur Mer Stay

My recent stay with my husband at Josephine’s apartment for 9 days was very enjoyable! The town of Villefranche Sur Mer is beautiful and quiet with the most incredible views of Saint-Jean-Cap-Farrat! Prior to arrival Josephine contacted me to inform of an unscheduled power outage at the apartment on the day of our arrival. She made arrangements for us to stay at a very quaint hotel with sea views and included breakfast very close to the apartment.

Absolutely Fabulous Apartment

We spent a wonderful eighteen (18) nights at Josephine’s apartment. I attended the Institut de Francais immersion program, and this apartment was the perfect location. It is about a 10 minute fairly flat walk to the Institut. My husband was with me and the location was perfect for him to catch the train (15 minute walk) or the bus (5 minute walk) so he could explore the region while I was toiling away in class. The walk to and from the vieille ville of Villefranche and the shops was easy and convenient, as well. Yes, there are hills and steps, but they are totally worth it for the wonderful apartment and views. The apartment itself is lovely. Very clean and modern. Totally updated. Bed was very comfortable. Oh, and the view is spectacular. We dined on the terrace for breakfast and watched the sunrise and at dinner we enjoyed the lights of Cap Ferrat. The apartment is equipped with everything you may need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything we needed and we very much appreciated the washing machine and air conditioning. Josephine and Regis were attentive and flexible. I highly recommend Josephine’s apartment.

A lovely apartment

This is a lovely modern apartment with beautiful views over Villefranche and Cap Ferret. Josephine could not have been more helpful, we arrived late and it was very nice to be met and have help with our luggage. The apartment was very clean and the bottle of wine very welcome on arriving so late. The bed was comfortable and the outside space perfect with very nice sun loungers and an eating area. The village is ten minutes walk down hill and if you cannot manage the walk back up, which is quite steep, it is very easy and cheap to get an Uber, we did this after dinner and only waited a few minutes each time. Villefranche is an incredibly pretty fishing village, full of lovely restaurants, Josephine has provided a very useful guide to the area with many suggestions. We had a really lovely stay, thank you so much Josephine.
