I have now stayed here 3 times and its always a pleasure. The staff are so friendly and kind. This is my first choice to stay when I am in Nice. I like that the rooms hsve a kitchenette and there is a grocery store nearby.

We stayed at the Jay Hotel on two different occasions. The staff was always pleasant, available and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for our needs. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel was amazing. The staff was great and helped in so many different ways. Alan and the manager, I forgot his name or a great help. The hotel is two blocks from the beach and all the restaurants on the main strip. Definitely would recommend this.

The staff at this hotel were amazing! Very welcoming and the hotel is in a great location. It was a unique spot and very clean, however, the beds were not very comfortable and there was a really powerful “musty” smell in the rooms. We were only there for one night so it was fine but felt it was more of a 3 star vs 4.

Great, a bang for the buck

I would say that it was a really pleasant stay with wonderful staff. The rooms was super nice and the location is awesome. If there was something to complain on I would say that it was a bit noisy from the construction outside, as well as the bathroom was not renovated in a couple of years.

This boutique hotel was perfect for our needs: budget yet very stylish is what we always seek and this hotel had it all plus plus! Excellent location walking distance to the coast and main promenade. The room was was a lot for the money, kitchenette, separate living room and plenty of closets. The staff were so friendly with complimentary espresso and large refillable glass bottles for filling at the tap with still or sparkling water to take up to the room. The area was very nice and so convenient. Loved it!

I could not find fault in the property. It is centrally located and customer service was excellent and this will set them apart from the rest. The moment we checked-in we were taken care of right away by Liliana even if we arrived early for our check-in. We stayed for seven nights. Allan at the reception (night shift) was the best - he made us feel like we are friends and every time we walk back in the hotel, he would ask how we were, what do we need and always calls us "TEAM BALTAZAR". We were touched when he mentioned that he cannot see us during our last few days as he will be off. We were a bit sad as we were looking forward to our short chit chats with him. If we go back to NICE - we will definitely stay here again. Location is perfect, the amenities were very good and staff were the best.

Excellent Staff

We stayed in the hotel last week. the room we stayed in had a issue and upon bringing this to the staff notice, they were apologetic and responsive in finding a solution. Gael (hotel manager), Sarah (front desk) was extremely professional. During our last day. they extended hospitality by allowing us a late check-out as our flight was departing in the evening. We would definitely be coming back to this hotel for our next stay.

Loved the service and staff at the hotel. Would highly recommend this location given how close it is to the water and every other location however, I will say that the hotel is a bit dated Based on the photos that I received about the location. I love that each room was set up with a refrigerator and microwave as well as like a hot plate. Pretty spacious room. The guy who sits at the front was extremely welcoming and appreciated his warm, greetings every day that we left and came to the hotel. Coffee/hot chocolate machine that we had access to 24 hours a day. The buffet could be better and often that was hosting the buffet, always irritated so those things I would think need to improve, but otherwise overall great experience

So I booked this very last minute , I had originally booked another place which I found so rude and they wanted me to wait until 2pm to check in so I decided to go to this boutique hotel instead . The receptionist was so lovely and polite after seeing how tired I was they made my room available straight away at 11 am without any extra charges ! Amazing staff..close to literally everything Will be returning Thank you !

We had a wonderful stay at The Jay. The room was very clean and comfortable and decorated in an individual style which we liked. Lovely, large, comfortable bed. Great breakfast. All the staff we encountered were extremely courteous, friendly, helpful and professional. We were always greeted by a smile when entering/leaving and everyone was approachable and ready to help with any queries. The location was spot on - very central yet quiet and only a stone's throw from a supermarket (we liked that the room had a kitchenette - the fridge was particularly welcome!) and a short walk into town/the beach/Promenade des Anglais. We loved our stay at The Jay - thank you to all of you for making us so welcome - and we look forward to returning. Would wholeheartedly recommend if you want somewhere comfortable, personal and convenient.

My partner and I stayed at the Jay hotel twice on a recent holiday- either side of a 2 night stay in Monaco... We were so happy with the Hotel after the first nights stay that we cancelled our booking at another hotel in order to return.... The staff were fantastic, especially Amir (I believe was his name) on reception.... They were all super friendly, always had a smile on their face and a "bonjour/ bon soir" to greet you through the door. The rooms were fantastic, super clean with great little kitchens etc. The location was perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the Promenade/ beaches etc and had a Carrefour shop 2 minutes away that stocked everything you could need.... Truly fantastic stay four our first trip to Nice/ Monaco and I really couldn't recommend the Jay Hotel highly enough!! - we will almost certainly be back again! - Thank you

We stayed for 2 nights. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nice touches, like a handwritten welcome note and free water refills. We had a room for 3 without balcony on top floor. It was beautifully decorated, true to photographs. It felt slightly small for 3 and I would probably chose the balcony room next time. It was very good value for money however. Sofa-bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable, the mattress was dipped in several places. Bathroom ok, shower difficult to get right as taps were separate. The room was situated at the rear of the building, which was lovely and quiet at night. The location of the hotel was great - about 1 block back from Rue De France which made everything walkable. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider staying again. Lovely hotel and fantastic staff.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! The location is perfectly walkable, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the lounge offers free coffee all day. Rooms are spacious, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, complete with a kitchenette (microwave, fridge, kettle, stovetop, and espresso machine). I loved all the design touches throughout the space. My only suggestion would be to add safety handles/bars in the shower/tub area to make it easier and safer to step out.

Highly recommend hotel Jay. Staff were very friendly, updated amenities, location was perfect, close to the beach, not too close to noise. Do not expect a kitchen, only enough to heat food in the microwave, and make a sandwich. Otherwise included breakfast was good, and lobby espresso machine was a treat.

Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft für den kleinen Geldbeutel ok gewesen, nah am Strand, mit kleinem Lebensmittelladen um die Ecke. Ruhig gelegen, wenn die Baustelle nicht da wäre… die lautesten Arbeiten fanden am Abend statt und dauerten teilweise bis spät in die Nacht hinaus. Personal war nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben Option mit Frühstück gebucht. Es ist ausbaubedürftig. Bei der Ankunft war das Apartment sauber, wobei roch es im Zimmer ziemlich unangenehm. Es wurde nicht gründlich gereinigt: der Boden ist oft nicht sauber gemacht worden.
