"The convenience was excellent! It is an older hotel and the rooms are small, bathroom small as well. The vallet staff was really nice. The elevator went down twice while we stayed. I have really bad knees and had to go up and down stairs which are incredibly steep."

"The people who work there are so so sweet especially the lady at night I forget her name but she’s honestly the best, about the hotel, we arrived at around 1 am. Absolutely exhausted, to walk into the room and a HUGE roach was on the ground running from out the bathroom , thankfully the lady working at night killed it for us, we were mortified but she switched our room for the night and it was fine from then on, the hotel only gave the first night free parking n then took off 100 dollars for something. To be so for real, should’ve been th first day free. Worried the rest of the trip about roaches, should NOT be a worry but it was. Everyone know they did what they could I guess but I still don’t agree with paying 3000 cad for a hotel w a roach. Pretty gross "

"No hot water until checkout day, but at least I got one solid, well-earned shower out of the visit. The room was impressively clean above knee level, which really highlights where the team focuses their efforts. There was also an interesting collection of “mystery items” under the bed, but I am happy to report no clowns or anything too alarming. The bed itself was incredibly interactive. I really got to know the springs on a personal level. Only part of the room had a noticeable cat pee aroma, which was easy enough to work around once identified. The front desk staff were genuinely fantastic. Some of the friendliest people you could ask for and easily the highlight of the stay. At the end of the day, Motel 6 promises to leave the light on for you. While it was a bit dim, they technically delivered. 5 stars."

"The location is just steps from the beach and Santa Monica Pier, with consistently warm, attentive service that guests rave about. FIG’s farm-to-table California fare being a particular favorite. The Bungalow lounge adds a fun, bohemian vibe with its outdoor patio and laid-back atmosphere. "

"Newly renovated, super cute rooms. Free borrowing of beach, chairs, towels, and all sorts of other other things which is great. Filtered water available on every floor, perfect location, public parking catty corner across the street."
