"This was a really nice clean hotel, situated a short distance from the train station, next to the main pedestrian area. We booked a family room, which was a large room with a sofa which converted into a double bed. Breakfast was provided which although was a small selection, it was sufficient. The town itself was beautiful with amazing architecture. I would highly recommend anyone visiting this region, to take the time to visit Meersburg which is a medieval town on the shores of Lake Constance."

"Good position. Walk to the main town and harbour area in 15 mins, easy walk. Room is small but adequate. We found the room quite noisy from the road during the night. Breakfast was good, very busy and queueing at weekends."

It is a little island (Insel) refuge, and pays homage in many ways to its origin as a Dominican cloister. Get a room facing the Bodensee for the full experience, and always include the breakfast!"
