"The apartment was in a great location and provided (almost) everything we needed for a lovely holiday. The sheets were very old and faded and there were no towels (despite them being specifically mentioned on the apartment description). "we had an excellent week with Olivier and Nathalie who were friendly and understanding. the gite was the only one on the site and was connected to the hosts main house. we shared a pool with the hosts and were able to have swim every day. the gite was advertised for up to 5 persons but there was only two of us so loads of space. nice big rooms (for 2) and a decent fridge and freezer. great location for exploring Niort and La Rochelle plus the local area"

"This property was good for my wife and I. Everything we needed was available. The location is good with a lovely stroll along the water into the town centre. Parking outside on the road was not ideal and it was our 3rd day before we could park directly outside of the house. Only downside was the based bedroom, this is not suitable for use. It is noisy due to hum of fans and dehumidifer that was needed to keep the damp smell down. Great house if you are looking for one bedroom."

"We stayed for one night at this property. Great location with free parking close by. A good base for exploring La Rochelle. Would stay again but mattress not very comfortable and first hotel I have ever stayed in where they ask you to take your rubbish out yourself. "We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...

"We had great stay. It was a bit tricky to find our way in because of the pedestrianisation of the street where it is located. Despite having booked a parking spot, we were not given instructions on how to go about passing the electric bollards until we called the hotel on our second trial. "I was travelling with two small dogs and a car full of stuff for my house rental. The hotel was safe and the garden was fabulous for the dogs. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful. I had a great room and the restaurant at the hotel was excellent. All in all it was a great overnight stay and I may very well go back there on my return. "
